We all had such a great time with the Halloween Contest this year that we have decided to do it once again for Christmas : )
The “2007 Christmas Name Contest” begins Saturday, December 1st!
So get those thinking caps on and get those name changes in before the end of the day on the 15th.

CHRISTMAS 2007 NAME CONTEST:
Show off your creativity by selecting a new and dazzling Christmas alias for a chance at some great prizes. It’s time to put on those thinking caps and get ready for a chance to win with a new name.
Simply pick a new name that we love and you may get a very nice gift. We had some fantastic entries last Christmas and we can’t wait to see what you will come up with this year. We have added an extra twist this year and will be awarding even more prizes.
We will award name winners in several categories; most creative/original, most outrageously funny, and the “Spirit of Christmas” award.
HOW IT WORKS:
You must be an active player in Bingo Mania, Nickel Bingo.
Only one name change per account/email address is allowed. If duplicated or multiple entries are received, only the first (1st) one will be accepted and the other disqualified.
You must keep the name from the time you change it, until the end of the month. Be sure to join us in the chat rooms so the GMs can see your new name.
CONTEST TIME LINES
- December 1, 2007:
Contest officially begins:
- 12 Midnight, December 15, 2007:
Deadline to make a name change. Any name changes made after midnight (12:01 am, Dec 16th) will not qualify and will have to follow the normal 30 day rule change for name changes.
- 12 Midnight, December 19, 2007:
Deadline to email entries to me for Bingo Mania/Nickel Bingo. Any emails received after 12:01am on Dec 20th will not qualify for the contest.
- December 20th – 22nd, 2007:
Voting and tallying of winners
- December 24th, 2007:
Announcement in chat winners of contest
- December 28th, 2007:
Announcement in newsletters
- December 31st, 2007:
Contest ends and you may request a name change On January 1st, 2008
Your name changes must follow Mania’s guidelines and cannot include “GM” in the name. After you make the name change, send your current alias (usual) and the Christmas name to GM Bill for entries for Nickel Bingo and Bingo Mania. He will be the only one to know your true identity. If you do not send an email, you will not qualify for the contest.
How to make a name change:
Think of a new alias and send a help ticket to the office with the alias you would like. Please remember there is a 15 character limit for aliases. The office will then alter your account to reflect your new name. After the change is complete, email your new contest alias and your prior alias. Please note: do not email your name entry until the change has been made on your account in case the name choice is already taken or cannot be made.
After you make the name change, send your current alias (usual) and the Christmas name to GM Bill for entries Bingo Mania and Nickel Bingo. He will be the only one to know your true identity. If you do not send an email, you will not qualify for the contest. Mail Deadline for entries is Dec. 19th 12mn.

*Employees of Helix International, Inc., and family members of such employees are not eligible to receive bonus bucks through chat room games, contests or other giveaways.
Don’t get left out in the cold and lose out by not checking the rules and deadlines for this contest.

Please be sure to send your contest entries to me via mail - entering them on the blog does not qualify them for the contest. Send them to gmbill@bingomania.com starting Dec 1st and deadline is Dec 15 by 12 mn.

Don’t forget…to make those name changes before tomorrow evening 12 mn on the 15th and then get them to me in email by 12-19-7 to qualify for the contest.
All those that have entered so far, I did send a return mail to aleting you I received your entry, if you did not get one be sure and check the web site listed above to see if your name is listed.
If you use AOL as your email provider you may not of received my response unless you have Bingo Mania as a safe mail sender, make sure that you are listed and if you dont see one be sure to check the rules. If you did not get an email back from me there can be serveral reason why you are not listed
1. did office make your name change before you emailed it to me, if not send a ticket and have then change it before deadline and remail me your entry.
2. make sure you are up to date and current on your account (active) meaning you have made a deposit into your account at least 1 time every 30 days.
Those are two main reason why you may not be listed.

The christmas name change contest is really cute some of the names are hysterical. I hope this year my new name is on the list, last year there was a problem.
