Little Rusty’s final act was to hold strong for his successor, Mojo. (*Sobs*) It was one of the gutsiest things I ever saw.

His tip: “flush your DNS” and here’s how:
1) Click on the start button
2) Click on Run
3) In the window that pops up, type in “cmd” without the quotes
4) In the command window type “ipconfig /flushdns” without the quotes
5) Restart your browser and try visiting http://wwww.bingomania.com again

The new home page does not fit in the window. The left side is cut off unless I change my settings to 1024×768. My eye sight is not very good so I can not use this setting. While playing a game I also had a problem viewing the called numbers at the top of the screen. Is there a way to either eliminate or reduce the chat box?

Stu I am getting really tired of getting the run around about this cc option I called the office yesterday and they told me that it would be up today so I called this morning and then they told me that they did not know when the cc option would be up why can’t I get a straight and truthful answer out of anyone?
Dont think mania really knows red.. Think what they’ve been saying is they hope it will be up today.. But its out of their hands i think cause its not mania causing the problem.. All of us who use cc for funding just have to be patient.. I know its hard but i’m sure we well have the cc option back soon.

Please note: using http://77.66.37.244/paas/bmn/home.action does not give access to our games!! Mojo’s friend, JJ the game server absolutely refuses to load games unless “bingomania” asks him to - any other URL simply won’t do…
Only going directly to www.bingomania.com will allow the games to load.. The reason why some of you may still be having trouble accessing it, is because it takes some time for your local DNS servers to realize that we’ve moved. The only thing you can do is wait OR if you’re really hankering for some Bingo, you can “trick” your computer like so:
1) Open up the file c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts in notepad.
2) Insert the following lines to the end of the file:
77.66.37.244 www.bingomania.com
77.66.37.244 bingomania.com
3) Save the file. You can now access the site using the above domain.

Well, I tried Olgas suggestion, and still got no where…the new window opens and across the bottom it says wawiting for bingomania….then after a few minutes it just says the page has timed out.
Awe I’m sorry appleby, I tried… If this didn’t work for you then you will be able to access the site only when your local DNS server recognizes the change… I guess it’s a lazy one =p
When we moved our UK site, the last possible time anyone had trouble with it was roughly 20 hours after the move - so that means today around 5PM you should be good to go.

Stu how about giveing a few more days on the 150% deposit bonus because it does not look like us that have to use the cc funding option is going to be able to get the 150% bonus because the cc option is still not working. Or when the cc option does becomes available give all that fund using the cc option a 150% bonus
Im in the same boat as you Make Me Red. I think it is more then just mania that is having CC prob. as I went to another site and their CC option was down as well.

Well I too submitted two help tickets - I can see they are closed but who knows what they say, as I cannot read anything on the left side - it is all cut off. I even asked in the last ticket if someone could email me with the info I need to fix this problem. Then GM told me to call. No one answered and I received nothing but ring ring ring LOL !! Cant fund either - guess you know what I am going to do……I know it is all new, but really do think that it should have been tested more thoroughly even if it took several days. okies so i liked the old site alot better. I will not play in nick nacks anymore because the caller annoys me and the poo poo color has got to go! thats about it ive gotten used to it….lol

Am not sure, think I liked the old site better. Not as impressed as I was at testing time. You took away one of the bingo games I could almost count on winning, the 30 cent cards (blue skies) or something like that? Doesn’t feel as homey or welcoming as other site. Sorry. I also feel that E-Wallet is a rip-off. Why do they think they deserve to get 10% of our winnings!
One other comment I forgot to add. Where are the free games? I kind of liked playing around with them when money is short.
I would just like to say that the roomies are hard to see now and we cannot make their names larger.Also that Bingo Board is so small I got a headache just straining my eyes to watch for my numbers to be called.The caller in the nickknacks sound just Like Elvis Presley.I love the guy but to come back as a Pig. dont understand all the complaints about EWALLET that has been their policy from the get go.
Here are the problems as I see them so far. Card highlight doesn’t work on 4 pack pattern, music for some, caller for some, no credit card option, jackpot winners listed aren’t true progressive jackpots won, unless they are splitting them by many people, they look to be amounts over $100.00. One GM said last night they are investigating the jackpots and winners to make sure they are not testers who won. Hmmm makes ya think. Lots of strange names winning bigger pots.
Been a player here since the start, nearly 10 years, and the new server should have been tested until all bugs were worked out. Last testing session there were still many problems.
They asked for reports I am giving them one. Love the GM’s here at this site, just not happy with the new site. They have been working on it for months that we know of, and probably longer behind the scenes. I know the old server was no longer working, but bingomania was no where near going live when they did.

What a crock….I just typed a long list of complaints, only to get to the next page after submit and be told I didn’t fill in the stupid spam protection box (whatever the heck THAT is supposed to be for since it DOESN’T say ‘required’ like the other boxes. Was told to hit the back button to do that, and what happens? NOTHING I typed before was left in the message box so I get to do it all over again.

Hi all you others who are bothering to make comments. I too do not like the new site…. not because it is “different” and I agree that regardless of what we say, they will not change the look of it.
Having a new server is one thing. Does that mean we have to change the way the actual game looks?
It is confusing. There are no longer any Penny games ( which were great when down to last few cents as I am right now ) BECAUSE I CAN’T FUND!!!
I HAVE visited other sites. They are similar to the old venue and guess what? THEY HAVE CC OPTIONS FOR US CITIZENS!!! Why not Bingomania? I still think Bingomania is the absolute best online, but why oh why are we now having to plead with management to make it work the way we, the players wish it to work?

PLEASE, GET IT TOGETHER AND AT LEAST change your darn screen to reflect things that matter to the player ie., the call board is teeny… there are too many “bells and whistles” and too many unnecessary things that we don’t need! Go back five years ago. Look at your site! Copy that and if you need, I have a CD you sent me for installation of a download version! My goodness, you all need to either want these comments in order to improve the site or not! We are the ones playing and paying… and I do not believe there are more people who are satisfied than those who are not~ Why now take a vote! I’m confident that THE MAJORITY WILL AGREE THIS NEW SITE MAY WORK a little better technically, but it is not better in it’s design, or application, and definitely needs to have a cc option and easy payouts. Otherwise, tell us to hit the road!

Totally ticked off….The home page shows nothing but text with blue url links and the log in area is half way down a huge page since the links all line up on separate lines. I’m using IE6 with all current updates. Installed Firefox, got a few graphics to load at the top, but the rest is identical to the results with IE6.
I’ve emptied the cache, deleted cookies and shortcuts to the site, rebooted the computer, and nada.
After logging in with IE6, I can now get the page with the rooms and those graphics show up fine; however, everything else is still text with blue url links and the scrolling down is a pita. When I try to log in with Firefox, it gives me a stupid dialog box asking me what program to use to open the link with (the GO button) as if the browser can’t figure out what it’s supposed to do next, such as open the freaking game index page.
Last, but not least, any room I click on shows the ‘flash’ popup window that you normally get for each room as before; however, it only turns green and loads about a fourth of the way and stops dead in the water. It will not load at all, even after I’ve walked away for over a half hour waiting for it.
I’m on a satellite modem, which is pretty close to being as fast as cable or dsl, but nothing is working for me at all….not IE and not Firefox.
Guess I won’t be around for a while until somebody at Mania’s end figures it out……and a good majority of us during testing of the new site had alot of these same problems before. I can’t believe you launched the server with this software before it was ready.

Ok I tried to get some bbs to tie me over until the cc option comes back and they said no so I guess my 700.00 plus a month I spend here is not good enough I can’t deposit without cc option and therefore I will not be able to get my loyality bonus so lets see how long they stay up when they lose alot of business I know they don’t care because ther is a sucker born every minute.

OK…at the cashier…the 2nd option down is Instadebit. All over the ‘write up’ about it, it says for US players. However, it does not work for US players. If you click on the ‘compare’ link, at cashier, it says right there…FOR CANADIAN PLAYERS ONLY. What’s up with that? Instadebit ‘went out’ years ago for US players. So, I read about it at cashier, and got excited…thanks a lot. NOT! Well, I left for a few days, decided to come back and see what’s going on…see if the cc option is back, catch up on the blogs, etc. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. lolol
As long as the rooms are filled ( as they are now ) Yumeee, et al, it seems there is no reason for them to rush to get the rest of us satisfied. Even if I could fund, it’s just not the same experience it was once, long, long, ago in a land far, far away.

mr. stu, i have a suggestion if i may.
have u thought about shutting down the site during the overnight hrs. since there is very very few playing during them hrs.this way it gives mojo time to rest and cool off. it got to be hard on server to run 24/7 and not over heat, maybe that one reason rusty died on us. i will admitt i no nothing about computers but it almost makes sense to me. it also gives techs time to fix some issues without bothering game play.also will u see about fixing it where it shows in chat who is joining and leaving, i like to greet players when they come in as much as i can. and i agree there got to be away to show who is plsying and not playing, it hard on gm’s when they got to yell for bb reply. ty for your time and ty for all the hard work u and all your staff does to make this the site the site to be at. mark

Stuuuuuuuu…didn’t you read where some can’t even open the home page? How are they supposed to send in a ticket? And, previously, this is exactly where folks came for help. Not only about the DNS thing. This is where updates were posted, and you and Bill, and Olga, and others came in to give assistance. Those that cannot open the home page, have no other choice. Didn’t you read the comments, from some that called Mania? OK…enough about that. I, personally, I have never had a problem accessing the game. During the ‘tests’, I had no problem. When the new server was all ready and the game came back up, so many had problems…I didn’t, and I am soooooo glad for that. So, on that note…I would like to thank you for the gift in my account. I was able to try out the new site and I absolutely lovedddddddd it…especially when I maximized the screen…it was all ‘right in my face’. lol All in all, I am thinking that the major complaint is communication. I even complained about it, a few days ago. I am just really trying to be honest, and share how it feels being on this end. Most players are able to get in and play, now. Some still can’t. It feels like, once the new server was up, there was much less communication, from Mania staff, in the blog. That’s all. It feels like, most concern is given to those able to fund, and able to play. Maybe we can work on that?

some of us cant use cc cause its been down for days and some of us did what mania said and opened an ewallet account.but still cant use it until you validate your account.and my bank still hasnt told me how much ewallet took out so i can play and i dont know if my bank will allow it.my mom opened it and her bank approved and i did mine b4 her so must be some kind of problem.so what good is ewallet?i opened the account last friday and still waiting

my homepage is still messed up, i cant play any games, i cant even see anything but writing unless i click on my profile, then the homepage looks normal except its to large, however even then i cant play any games, they won’t load, getting very frustrated here.

WOW!!..took forever to read all the blog entries..I truly don’t understand all the negativity..I did like the previous setup..however, if Mania felt it needed to change-upgrade..whatever..so be it.. I have played at many sites that went thru changes as well..most of the time we didn’t like the changes..but eventually we settled in..
and then there are sites that I go into..never having played there before..and I won’t go back..but when we ARE dedicated site players..then I do think we need to chill out and go with the flow..
