The Christmas Holidays are my favorite time of the year – a time for friends, family and of course some well deserved time off from work : D
But one part of the Holidays that I dread, is the creative thought process that goes into finding the right gift to show my appreciation to a loved one. And let’s not forget the overcrowded shopping centers.

Over the years, I’ve used online shopping to alleviate the stress of retail shopping during the holidays. But each year, like many folks, I’ve struggled with the gift ideas part. So for this year, I did some poking around the World Wide Web and found several great ideas!

As far as gift giving…..do like we are this year… NO gift giving. We have all decided to enjoy each others company and not have to stress over what to give to each other and worrying if you have enough money to do even do gift giving. We are just all thankful to be alive (especially me)and to be able to see each other and create lasting memories. I also think that many have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas.
bah, i could not have said it any better myself. it is not how many gifts u get, it show much love and appreciation u have for the person(s) u know that count the most and hellping those who may not have a nice xmas.
Just a quik thought Mania… How bout sending out an e-mail to your players to let them know when there is going to be maintenance on the site and the site will be down. Instead of having us booting in a game. It is abit aggrevating when this happens..
Boy, do I like that suggestion tiz… Doesn’t take a genius to figure out we are at a total loss here when we go to the site, it doesn’t work and sometimes ( like in my case ) just before it finally goes out, little “glitches” happen and we go nuts trying to defrag, disk clean, restore, re-boot, etc., etc., etc., and blame our own computers. As I said this was what was going on with me all day yesterday! All they had to do was acknowledge that they were once again having problems and that they would be “offline” today!

As I ALREADY said this was what was going on with me all day yesterday! And all we ask is that if a number of people send in a ticket echoing similiar problems, it would be most helpful if it was at least acknowledge that perhaps we should expect the site to go down!!!!All they had to do was acknowledge that they were once again having problems and that they would be “offline” today! There certainly wouldn’t be a giant gaping hole in the side of my computer desk!!!!!
ALSO WHERE IS A ‘BLOG MONITOR’… SOMEONE HERE WHEN WE FIRST GET HERE AFTER THE SITE GOES DOWN FOR THE UMPTEENTH TIME!!!!

We, the players, are at a total loss here when we go to the site, it doesn’t work and ultimately we have absolutely no recourse, and no one to “field” our questions to as for instance WHEN WILL THE SITE BE BACK UP?!!!! With Online purchasing so easy to do now, I have found, even though I hateeeeeeee the malls and stores, I am missing some of the Holiday spirit and tradition with going out and purchasing. One it is not so much the gift but the effort put into getting the gift. But I miss the days of going to the malls and seeing all the decorations, the Holiday music playing, seeing Santa with a line of children waiting to sit on his lap. I think with the online shopping so available, not going out is taking away from the traditions and the feeling the Holidays give us. I think I will start once again visiting the ole hated malls lol……..

Hi Loops157, at this time, we don’t have a way of allowing members to fund each other’s accounts.
But we are working on an upcoming feature: Gift Card purchase. This way, you could purchase a bingomania gift card and the amount purchased will be credited to your friends account.
This will be one of our many new features for 2008!

Oh that would be such a good idea and thanks for posting that one, BankRoll!!!! There was a time way back when, about maybe say 5 years ago, that you could play for free and although you didn’t win cash, you could win prizes. That’s where I got a Bingomania refrigerator magnet; a dauber bag filled w/ bingomania daubers, and a Bingomania T-shirt!!!! And……… if that weren’t enough, they did “pay out” it was one penny if you won!!! Oh that would be sweeeeeet!
Now of course, the only problem is, will anyone in charge read this LOL and if so, will they actually put that free room in place?!
Hope so and really, really, really miss playing!!!
