Hi Everybody! January is over and we’re now a week into February. I’ve been trying to come up with ideas to keep Mania as your favorite bingo site, and I have an idea I want to run past you. But before I do, let me back up a bit.
It will be 10 years this March that Mania has been a pay to play bingo site, and yes I have been listening to your feedback, both good and bad. Over the years two complaints seem to repeat themselves. One is that sometimes there are too many people in a room and the chance of winning isn’t that great. The other is that an unknown player is winning too much and people worry that he or she is a house player. The first problem is a good one to have if you’re me, and the second one not. That being said, I hope that I have proved over all this time that I run an honest site and would never do something like that. Anyways back to the idea… :)
What if Mania was able to provide players with rooms of their own? For instance lets say that you have 10 or 20 friends that you play regularly with and enjoy their company, and you want to play just with them? What if you were able to request a room where you specify what the card cost is, what the max number of cards is, what people can get into it, and when it plays? Would that be of interest to you?
I’m thinking that this might be a neat idea. It would be kind of like my weekly poker game at my house with my buddies. Sure I like winning those games, but when I lose, I know that one of my good friends wiped me out…lol…as opposed to a stranger. This would also be a good way of keeping the number of players in a game down to a reasonable level and also take away any anxiety any of you have (though I hope you don’t have any) that everybody that plays here is real.
Anyways that’s my two cents and I hope you will post comments on this idea so I can get an idea of whether its worth trying out. Mania’s current rooms aren’t going anywhere. From where I stand, one of the really great things about online bingo is that you get to meet new people from all over. But I don’t see any harm in people also having their own private games on the side. I don’t have all that many ideas so please comment on this one. :)
