We are happy to inform you that easy funding is (almost) back at BingoMania! Why “almost”? Well there are a couple kinks to iron out still. The major one is that the bank is currently not accepting Mastercard transactions. You can use your Visa credit card only to fund your BingoMania account. Another problem you may experience is this error:
NCC Transaction unsuccessful.Processing this type of credit card in this currency is not allowed
This has nothing to do with your country of residence - both Canadian and US residents may encounter this problem. This means that the bank processing the transaction is unable to approve that particular credit card. If the card is a Visa Debit Card it is more likely to incur this error, but as far as we can see any Visa card can potentially have this problem. Unfortunately we are not able to remedy this issue at this time - it is completely up to the bank. The only thing that you can do is try another Visa card - please call our support office if you have exceeded your max card limit and cannot register another card. However, this is a temporary solution and we are in the process of getting a permanent easy funding option that accepts both Visa and Mastercard within the next few weeks.
Loyalty Bonus - some of you were inquiring about the status of your loyalty bonuses for the month of January. We will be extending the loyalty & VIP bonus qualification period for January until Feb 8, 2008. What this means, is that all your deposits from Feb 1st to Feb 8th will count for both your January and February loyalty bonus, so you have an extra week to qualify. Your January loyalty bonuses will go through before February 10th as usual.
Free Games - we will keep the free Bingo games open, as a few of you may still be having trouble depositing.

Olga is it fair to assume that the credit card option will not be available all weekend and into the week next week as well? I wanted to enter the special but now I can’t if they can’t get it up by then it would only be fair to postpone the special until you can get the cc option up and running I really don’t understand all this as it was up and running the other day.

It’s very frustrating for you all and us as well - it is completely up to the banks whether to approve or decline transactions. They tell us “go” we go, they tell us “stop” we stop lol… They are telling us that next week we can “go”

Why can’t they limit the party room to those of us who can’t deposit and therefore can’t play in the regular rooms. The ones winning in the party room are the same ones that win in the regular rooms all of the time.

i have won 20 cents in 2 days in free room ,deposited twice this week and only got 3 bbs,is getting to expensive to play cant win in any rooms and bbs are impossible to get anymore.there those are my feelings i just get aggravated and have to vent lol

The free room was set up for loyal players that cant depsoit right now because of funding being down with credit card right?? So if that room is open for that reason why are depositing players playing in there?? Get this…I won a $1.10 in the party room and went to luckylane last nite I played in the chat games and won $3.00 in bbs however Mania will not credit them to me because I am not a active player..I am just a loyal level 9 player OMG so I ask why am I not active and they say because I have not made a deposit in the past 30 days well DUH I wonder why..NO CC option..So I told them I will just quit playing in the party room so my roomies can have a better chance of winning… gee whiz it is a shame when you cant even win a bb..LOL so I am done venting or whining. I understand you are upset Penny and I can even see where you are coming from. But because you are a level 9 does that entitle you to more perks or rule bending then others? I would not think so. I think that no matter what level you are at everyone should be treated the same way. Someone who is a level 2 may have just started but will eventually be a level 9. As for the CC option not being up, that is not something mania can control, so trying to hold it over their head will do not good. The rules have always been deposit in 30 days to be eligible, level 2 or level 9 we all follow the same rules. I know it is frustrating for CC not to be up but like I said Mania can not control that and think of how frustrated they must be, not only with the loss of revenue by not having as many people depositing but also because they have to answer 500 questions a day with the same we do not know response. I feel for mania and all they have to put up with some days. Some people do not stop and think that mania is going through a hard time to, they only think about themselves. So try and be a little more understand that they can not take your word that you would have put in the money to be eligible because everyone would say that, even level 9’s are capable of lying to get what they want(not saying it is you just an example) you have to look at it from their side of it as well.

I just wanted to say that I don’t feel CC funding is more important than e-wallet funding. I believe that accurate and timely information would only be respectful. I have continued to fund and refer with NO reservations. I understand and appreciate Mania is trying to keep players interested ( Party Room ) however, the bottom line is, this is a profitable business and respect should be demanded across the board. As a paying patron I expect accurate information same as anywhere else I spend my hard earned money.
My point… If you tell us we are getting bonuses for the first week of Feb. included in Jan. Bonus, then give them to us. If we are told that bonus will be given on the 10th, then give them on the 10th. I believe that most players are being very patient and understanding with all the conflicting information. Dalynn
I don’t know if Mania is having the same issue but maybe CC is down for this reason: I strayed from Mania after CC was down for like 2 weeks, I saw this other site was taking CC’s so I deposited. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I only deposited $25 but my debit card was charged $250!! So Mania is probably having the same problem and doesn’t want that to happen to their players. Like I said I don’t know if this is why but it could very well be one of the reasons :/. Needless to say I’m never going anywhere else again I don’t care what issues mania come across I’m here to stay! Also I am still fighting the other bingo site to give me my $250 back! So hang in there it’s down and probably for good reason!
what is with this sense of entitlement? Where on the mania site does it say if things do not go your way they will bow to your feet? they bend over backwards for people to try and make things easier and it is never good enough. How about they take the party room away, stop trying to get CC option up for people and stop answering people when they ask questions? I think it is getting a little nuts that so many sit and complain without thinking what it is like on the other end. But no one cares they only care about what they want. Well I am not sure if you have noticed this yet but in the big bad world people get crapped on and that is the one thing mania is trying to prevent. they are trying very hard to accommodate everyone and yet people still whine and complain because everything is not just they way they want it. Here is a thought, get over it. Things will work themselves out in due time, you are not the only one waiting they are to. I have sat back for weeks and listened to people gripe moan and complain because life is not exactly the way they want it and all I have to say is you are JUST realizing it does not always go the way you want? Because you have been here longer so have had the opportunity to put in more money then others mania should break rules and bend over backwards for you? get over yourself. that is one of the many reasons I like mania, is no matter how long you have been a player here you are treated the same as if you have been here from day 1. But I guess there will always be people who think they deserve the world handed to them because of who they are. Thankfully mania has many more people who are understand and not so self absorbed that they feel that mania should be doing anymore then they already are. A free room alone people should be thankful. They are giving you a chance to win something even if you can not deposit, but even then you get the people complaining that they can not win in there. So what is mania supposed to do? NOTHING, that is what they are supposed to do. There is NOTHING in there terms that promises a CC option but they still try their hardest to get it up to make the players happy and there are a lot that are not making it any easier on them by whining and complaining about everything. So stop with the complaints and be a little more constructive. Try thanking them for giving you any options at all, or for the hard work they are putting in to getting the CC option back up, or how about for the free room so you can still play. try that for awhile and see if you get farther in life by being thankful as opposed to greedy and selfish.
So maybe to take away from the complaining I will start and say THANK YOU mania for everything you are doing, everything you try to do and everything you continue to do. Anyone else feel like being slightly thankful and stop feeling so entitled?

I know it is hard for some to face the truth and sometimes the truth can hurt but someone had to say it. We rely on other companies for our credit card processing, so often times we have about as much information as you guys. We’re not any massive corporation by any means, we’re doing the best we can. To all the defenders of Mania: your loyalty and support is greatly appreciated - thank you! However, please try not to jab at the other roomies on the blog even if you think they are out of line. Your gift and vip loyalty bonuses should be in now. I have set them up to award automatically on the first Thursday of every month. We just got word from the bank that we are a no-go on cc yet again this week. In the words of the fat comic guy from the Simpsons - Worst…episode…ever. They are telling us next week. ok time for me to clarify a few things. Yes penny I guess you did strike a nerve, you complain because mania would not give you 3 BB’s as you are a level 9 player. You of all people being a level 9 should know the eligibility for getting BBs in a chat game you must have deposited in 30 days or less. If you have not which it is clear you did not you are out of luck. Ok so they go by your past history? Why? Because you are a level 9? No I do not think so. That is not fair to everyone else who can not get BB’s because they have not been able to deposit. the rules for 1 are for all there are no exceptions because you think there should be as a level 9. I am a level 6 so should I say if i do not get BBs because i have not deposited in 30 days well I am a level 6 which is higher then a lot of other players so I should get them? No I would not do that because that is not fair. You say no matter what level 1-1000 how is 3 bb’s going to break mania well I guess if you think of it as JUST you then you are right 3 would not break them BUT then you have to think that there are roughly give or take what 700 people on mania? So if mania had to give each of the 3 BB’s that is 2100 bb’s they are giving away for nothing plus all the bb’s they give in chat games and the FREE room they have provided, after awhile YEAH that might break them. And like any business they are out to make money not lose it.
As for you accusation that mania is paying me to defend them, if they were paying me I would not have to deposit anything, yet I do all the time. Just because someone thinks you are being greedy does not mean they work for mania it means exactly like i said you are being greedy and maybe a little self centered but hey that is just my opinion.

As for you not being able to make a deposit. I do not believe that is Manias fault, there is nothing in there terms that say the CC option will be available to you all the time. So if it goes down which it has it is not their responsibility to make sure that people get added bonuses to be able to play, but they do. they added a free room and yet people still complain too many people, too many of the same winners. Well i said it before get over it or don’t play. There is a sense of entitlement that is looming in mania and it is out of hand and you complaining about 3 BB’s with out looking at all aspects of it still boggles my mind. It is not the GM’s job to make sure you are eligible it is your job to ensure the GM knows the truth and as a level 9 you should know the rules. You should have known you were not eligible and yet you stayed quiet and tried to get them anyways to me that is lying but hey like i said just one opinion.

I’m very sorry for your frustration. Your screenshot is a little small for me to see what’s going on, but let me show you what I see in our database.
Support was mistaken and you did play card number 305479 (it didn’t show as “purchased” because it was one of the cards you got free after purchasing other cards, that’s why they made the mistake). It has the following numbers on it:
4,15,3,8,7,24,20,18,19,25,38,31,45,
37,41,48,57,59,46,50,63,75,61,67,69
Please see my screenshot of what the numbers called were here. The darker numbers are the call numbers and beside each is the number called on that call (ie. call 1 was number 52, call 2 33 etc). As you can see, all your numbers were called except the number 45 which you needed to complete your coverall.
The winning card was card number 1436803 bought by Liberty, which had these numbers on it:
5,2,8,10,13,20,17,23,24,19,32,41,33,38,
34,54,51,60,48,59,75,65,61,74,69
all of which were called, so she won the $50.
I see that your card turned red when the game ended, so I understand your frustration. I think what happened was that your 1-to-go which is orangey was covered by the green sheer making it look reddish. However, when I look at the numbers on the card it’s clear it wasn’t a winner. It was very close though
In the future I would ask everyone to refrain from posting individual tickets on the blog.

I just got a large version of your screenshot so I can actually see what’s going on. I can clearly see the card says ‘winner’ on it, from the small screenshot it looked like it could have just been a color overlap but it wasn’t. We’ll be investigating further to see what happened there, it’s very strange.

It’s just showing in the database as a free card instead of a purchased card. There are two transaction types available - BUYCARDS and GETCARDS. The BUYCARDS is what support saw, but your card was under GETCARDS. You don’t receive free cards in those rooms, but the system still spreads out the cards you get into those two transaction types, which is really annoying for staff because the report only shows BUYCARDS transactions, but it should really show both since they’re always missing half or more of the actual cards played. It’s a tech issue in our reporting, sorry to confuse you.
Red in regards to cc option, it’s not looking good for at least another 2 weeks unfortunately

I just read over some of the post on here and im glad that MHCntry shard her story with us.. after all the different storys i have been told why credit card is not working i will no longer play on this site. on feb4th i was told this week and today feb 13th now its another 2weeks.. im sorry mania but it seems like the free room is a joke. maybe if you would have spent the time on credit card then putting that room in credit card will be up and working. Its sad that there is special on valentines day and been told fo rover month dont worry credit card will be up and running by then.. and now its not… i want to thank MHCntry for showing us that screen shot.. If you would not have had that you still never would have gotten your money. Im just fed up with what i believe are lies. and now seeing that what they do to players i am going to spend my money else where… Good luck players and i hope that when you all hit for good money they pay you instead of telling you that you never even had a winning card…
