Hi Everyone!
First off we would like to thank everyone who helped us test our new server yesterday – you guys are fantastic! For those of you who weren’t there, Mojo was smooth as a cucumber and everything went really well. We will be touching up the new server over the holidays and have set the launch date for January 9th, 2008. Until then, we are doing our best to keep Little Rusty problem-free, which is why we are having maintenance downtime. We should have our games up and running before the end of the day, and will keep you updated here on ManiaStu.
UPDATE: We are pleased to announce that our games are BACK ONLINE… again 
We apologize again for our recent downtime, but hope that you enjoyed the free games. All your Bingo winnings will be credited into your accounts by Monday.

Are you kidding me??? No sound, no chat…..some people couldn’t get in at all……not ’smooth’ by my definition. Maybe you didn’t realize that some of us still don’t have a caller and chat won’t load….because we couldn’t tell you as we waited 2 hrs for chat to load and it never did. If yesterday’s test was an indication of how ‘Mojo” is gonna be…..well, I’ll miss you all……..

I second ihvnolyf’s comment yesterday was bad. I have never had such a lag. I acually did disk cleanup, deframent and restart thinking it was my computer.
OMG all day without bingo what is a girl to do!!! House is clean presents are wrapped and kiddos are gone for the night. As for the new server in my opinion it stinks! The new board is wayyyy to light and as I have bad eyesight its not good! Those bingo bets *bleck* couldnt figure out how they worked even after clicking that rootin tootin question mark a few times! And I noticed that it took me forever and I do mean forever to get into chat the last time because the room was FULL! Full what do you mean full whats up with that? And as for the caller she just sounds a little to perky for my liking. I just hope they change the skin for that bingo board and make that “glass” where the bingo balls come out a little clearer. as for the bingo bets I just wont play them. I am however looking forward to the micro slots!

just a suggestion..but those of u that had issues with the new server…maybe u can tell em which type of internet u are using (i.e, dial-up, dsl, satellite) and which browser u are using (i.e, firefox, internet explorer, etc). Maybe this will help them fix the problem

i’ve been with mania for almost 7 years and have never found another bingo with as many choices for games and never had a problem cashing out until the changes that our crappy gov’t made trying to ban US players…now it just takes longer…oh and the fact that i’m waaaaaay over due for a big win. would love to try cashing out again. seems my luck took a dive but 2008’s gonna be a good year i can feel it in my itchy palms. i know one lady who said she played at a site where she won over $800 in one night and ended up having to spend it all back because they had waging requirements…she ended up with nothing and when she asked about it in chat she said they booted her. i’m staying put lol.

If the same player had multiple accounts the bonuses would be representative of the 200.00 per thousand loyalty. But since we’re limited to one account. I think the higher depositors should be rewarded compensatory bonus.

I am really surprised to see the site still down at 1100pm on Friday, the 21st. Little Rusty should have been retired long ago and as far as the “MOJO” test site—the joke was on me. Tried to get in and it temporarily locked me out—then no chance of chat–even to ask questions. I don’t know about anyone else, but, I find that statement a bit insulting. How does a piece of machine resist fixing? It is not human but a machine. I guess techs on the islands don’t have much experience and/or knowledge to make a repair of this magnatude..

Very upsetting. But for a site to be down this long with a new server waiting to go, does not make sense. Really makes you wonder if site is coming back up or gone to never never land. I understand how it is hard for someone without a server administrative background to understand.
However, I have worked as administrator of a server for over 10 years. We are on our 3rd server. Sites grow. Systems update. Things have to be changed to move forward.
All of the issues, lag, downtime etc that you are addressing is exactly why they are working on the new server.
No one but Microsoft would launch without complete tweeking and testing.
I think dealing with ups and downs and a bit of lag through Jan 9th is very mild when you know the total outcome is for upgrades that are for our ease and convenience.
I know everyone is frustrated. Believe me I want to play Bingo as well.
But I seriously think this frustration and anger is being misdirected.
Can we please get an update.. oh please almighty gm gods!!!!

I work nights and sleep most of the day, so I miss all the special games during the week. So, on friday Saturday and Sunday I play Bingo almost all day.

Why are they putting the new server up, Maureen, when it failed so miserably on Thursday? Is it because they don’t know how many of us had no sound, no chat or just plain couldn’t get in? If GMRose couldn’t get in or get it to work us computer illiterate people certainly aren’t going to be able to. She’s a tech and couldn’t get in. I tested 3 times….all 3 times I had no sound….the last time I had no chat….kept refreshing and waiting the whole 2 hrs….just got a little circle going round and round (like my electric meter) Many other people came into chat in nacks and said they couldn’t get in.

If everyone Can remember mania has changed over the years there server and games. And as always they can get it running up like any new game but sometimes there are glitches that need to be fixed when games are running. eventually they will be all worked out and fixed and working right. It takes time to work out glitches. If we have a problem if we do a ticket or email tecs they will work on it to fix problems. So we can eventually all have a smooth working game. Not sure if anyone else remembers when they have changed things before. But it will all work out in the end Good luck everyone see you all when games come up.
