A few days ago, Chela55, one of our BingoMania members, brought a great video to our attention about Autism. It’s a beautiful clip and we couldn’t agree more with her: more awareness is needed in our society about Autism.

thank you soooo much Mania for posting this clip..I hope all who view this understand Autism is such a problem in our society today, te lack thereof of how many children are affected by this disease…For any other mania players who ahve Autism in this family..God Bless your children or grandchildren..

Chela–My niece is a Social worker who does wonders with her autistic clients! She also falls in love with each and every one of them–they look forward to her visits!!!

I also have a little girl on the Autism spectrum and have felt the amazing burden that this disorder places on families with affected children.
I am a district rep for Autism Speaks (the people who made this video) we are hoping to pass laws that will help these children get the help that they so deserve, great job on spreading awareness.

I have seen this video before and every time I watch the video I get tears in my eyes. I wish more people in the world understood Autism and the many different forms of it.
My 15 year old has Aspergers Syndrome, and my 5 year old goes for his testing on April 11th. I am afraid it will be the same news with him.

My heart goes out to you hun…I can remember the day we got the news about our Nicole..I thought someone was going to pull my insides inside & out..& I am talking about 33 years ago, where this was unknown territory..Now our daughter is a grown woman with a new baby of her own, facing the same challenges…these children are special, the only thing I can really say is..put your trust in the Lord..he has carried our daughter thru this during her lifetime & we are reassured her daughter will be by the hand of our Lord..guided thru life..Do not fear this with your youngest one Tracy..With all of the new studies & awareness such as this video..more & more people are coming forward.. & more children are being helped..we still have a longgggg way to go…but we are getting there!
