We did it – we finally have a blog! What … what’s a blog? And what is ManiaStu?
A blog is an online journal and ManiaStu is a transparent journal for the BingoMania.com community members. My hope is that the ManiaStu blog will give you a chance to look inside the BingoMania HQ and get to know us better. We will discuss everything and anything ranging from the Bingo Maniac culture to Celebrity Gossip.
This is our first shiny post – but before I dive into this thing called blogging and start writing my heart out, I’d like to hear from you: Please send any ideas and suggestions as to what you’d like me to talk about on our bingo blog.

I would like to see on the blog, info on the current GM’s. Like where they are from, how long they have been with either site, their hobbies, etc. Maybe a feature spotlight on one each week. We are all like a family and I have been here nearly 9 years. Thanks

Hello ALL and congratulations on the new blog. looks great and hopefully will be lots of fun and informative. One suggestion I do have is to revamp the schedulle page so you can see all days at one time for a particular room. Good luck to all and win,win,win!
I would like to say what a great site mania is. It is a home away from home for me. I have met a lot of great people on there and its always a place that can cheer you up.
I would like to see other pay out options for US residents if possible.
I think coming up with surprise deposit bonus days. Contest for us players would be great.
Like maybe top bingo winner in each room or top player who wins on a certain pattern so many times. I know you have had the slots tourney but I think you need something for us bingo players too.
Its always great to see the changes at mania it makes it so much more enjoyable.

Michele: As a foodie, I think this will be easy to talk about. Only problem is that I love to eat, but I’m not the greatest cook. That being said, I think collectively we can all share our favorite recipies and talk about them. We could have a recipe of the week submitted by a community member. We’d share it on the blog and those interested can make the dish, take a picture of their amazing meal and share their thoughts on the recipe.
flower61: Winners board not working on the home page? I’ll take a look. Yes, that would be great too – allowing the community to send out congratulatory shout-out to friends. On a side note, we’ve got something brewing here at the BingoMania HQ, called My Mania, which will allow members to send messages to other members, plus a whole slew of other neat futures…more on My Mania on a post topic later this week.
KYLINDA: I too agree that our bingo schedule page needs a redesign. We’re working on a new site design and an upcoming upgrade that should make it easier for everyone to view each room’s bingo schedule along with monthly promos. More on the upgrade on an upcoming post.
MrsElmo: Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it. Since the Neteller issues, our industry experienced a few months back, I’ve personally been working really hard to find our US members easy funding and payout options. During the past few months we’ve had our ups and downs but now things are looking better. For payout options, have you tried Safe Pay? I really like their services and as I’ve said before, I think they’re a much better service than Neteller was. … re: promos: stay tuned : )

I would have liked to have seen more late night playing. I do not sleep well and used to come online to play bingo here, unfortunately a player would play the game alone and win less than you paid LOL I think promoting some sort of nightly games after 01:00 would be great!! Such as games paying no less than $15 in the quarter room, $10 in the dimes room etc etc. I think this would be a great addition to Mania and also help to keep players here after midnight. I know you already have 2 nights of all night playing but I am talking every night and it would help Mania make more $$$$ too LOL

What a great idea!! I would like to see some fun tournaments where you buy in for a package price and win prizes such as merchandise or trips. I’ve seen on some other sites where they add a special room just for the tournaments and some run for the entire weekend where the person with the most accumulated wins gets the grand prize.
I’d also like to see a return of the BBs for chat games…playing for 1 or 2 BBs is nice but really boring. There are so many chat games you can play and would like to see more creative games that would offer an opportunity to entertain us and win prizes.

i agree with the other posters late night after midnight est would be nice since its only 9 pm here in california, i would also like to see more winners names posted on the main page as it is now you only publish people that have won in bingo and theres a lot more games here than just bingo. a topic like top slot winners . also i would like to see the keno come back and not all jacked up like .05 fixed bet. oh yeah 1 more thing lol post times and days your going to do maintence on the system so we dont have problems playing. now as far as your staff goes i think you have a great team everyone is very nice to deal with and their very helpful keep up the good work can i list you as a dependent on my tax’s lol thank you bingo mania…
What a great idea this is. If you are looking for site suggestions my major one would be the pre-buy feature. Its tough when you are busy to keep running back and forth so certain games aren’t missed. The second suggestion would be that chat games are arranged so that someone in chat wins everytime. most do not cause winners are out of room.

I would like to see bigger pots late at night for us oldies but goodies who cant sleep or cant always get to play at normal times….
I would also like to see auto buy while we are playing so we dont miss games in other rooms.

Hi! Luv the blog and reading the posts..great idea Mania. I would luv to see some different chat games. I am a long time player (5 yrs now)and enjoy the people and the GM’s are the best. I like the recipe idea, pre-buy idea, and more chat prizes such as a BingoMania magnet, shirt, ect. for maybe special nights. Thanks for listening and look forward to hearing everyone’s ideas.
I love this! It is great to see the players being able to interact outside the chat room! I don’t like pre-buy ideas, too many non roomie winners when you do things that way. Auto buy would be cool, that way if you step away for a few minutes you don’t miss games.
I would love to see some new slots too, I’ve seen some really neat ones on other sites.

I would like to see a little more trivia games and less nabors. Skippy doesn’t cooperate too often with roomie wins and we go for long stretches with no BBs.
An oldie but a goodie that I like to play is races, where each player picks a B or an O and when all the numbers acroos from it are called those players win bbs if they reply in chat with a TY.
Keno and lotto are 2 of my favs as well.
I could go on and on with ideas for chat games but i’ll stop here LOL.
Hi. i really like this idea, i would like to see GM Kari’s odd, even game brought back, i really enjoyed it and i know a lot of other roomies did also. Now if we are being real honest here i have to say i for one am not happy with the bb’s being lowered, some of us can’t afford to fund everyday but enjoyed the conpany of the roomies and winning bb’s helped us to play and chat a while longer, other than that i love mania even if skip is pretty mean at times,LOL, thanks for listening
When chatting and the GM posts what game is being played it goes by so fast I can’t read it and if I scroll back up and someone else posts its goes away fast again. Maybe the game that is being played can be shown in another window?

ok … please NO PRE-BUY … I used to play on a site and those people who pre-buy always win … and it’s not fair to the chat roomies. Also, please put the bb’s back like they were … every since the change I’d be happy to win 1 bb … the games are not fun anymore …. especially the one’s where you have to type in when you see the double numbers … 22,33,11 … etc .. I don’t type very fast and really can’t see that well, so needless to say … I never get those ..LOL .. anyway … I Love Mania and will always play here ….

I agree with the new designs comment and i also think bringing back one of the weekly games would be fun for example the Keno night (chat game) something like that would be great….i lived for those nights lol. Im baaaack! I thought of something i would like to see…..I checked my loyalty and i think it would be nice to know approx. how far we are from reaching our next level. I know its not that big of a deal for most but i find myself trying to figure that out often lol. If there is a way to do that i think that would be nice to know. Im off to get my bingo on!!!
What I would like to see is an just and hour dedicated just to line games one line two line and the three line games. I think they are so much fun to play lots of roomies love them also.

This is such a great Idea, I havent been here to long but a blog is a must, I agree with a few others as far as the chat games. something different would be great and a tournament would be so much fun, I played at another site for 6 years and we had a bingo tourney and slot tourney which was so much fun, a couple new patterns would be great, but let me say a hats off to our GMs for a tremendous job done each day, wish you all lots of bingos and thanks for the blog its a wonderful idea.

This blogging is a wonderful idea. I have a suggestion i would like to see happen. Instead of mania giving 150% bonus on wed and sat, i think it would be great for it to be done all the time. This would save everyone from having to wait to deposit funds until that day and maybe releave the system from to many deposits at one time. Thank you for listening.
Back to the topic of pre-buy……players do not always come to chat, they have their reasons - me for instance can no longer read it since surgery. Many of the chat games require you to have to watch chat or the numbers closely which I cannot do. So the pre-buy is not such a bad thing. Winners are NOT always in chat so what does it really matter if pre-buy exists? Love the blog idea by the way. Mania is a good site to play bingo and the GM’s are great too (well most of em lollllllll - j/k)You know me Wheez - remember what ya used to call me hahaaaa!!! Miss you. Oh by the way, I too am a long time player here just about 7 years now so Mania must be doing something right

Hi Stu, I would like to suggest doing mania games one price deal for the special fixed pots something like the tourney’s you have. Instead paying each time you play a game or have a special room for different fixed pots.
I just read one of Stu’s comments about payout options. He suggested Safe Pay for payouts but I was told my a GM that SafePay was only for funding not payouts. It would really be helpful if we could get everyone on the same page so we know if we can or cannot use SafePay for payouts….instead of just funding.

Auto buy sounds great though! That way there’s no missing games if you’re, say, at work like I am most of the time and I have to walk away to work and I miss games…..
I think some fresh, FAST, patterns would be good too. Some of the patterns now are SO long they might as well be coveralls and they’re not very exciting either. I think a “speed” room would be a great idea. Short, fast games keeps the rush going for some of us.
I have to agree that the chat games that require you to type in something before anyone else does kinda stink. Even with my new puter, I cant get in there fast enough lol…….I luv nabors and the LP Pick3 games…….
I have another suggestion that I haven’t heard yet: I know you offer the “free games” for folks who hadn’t won the previous week BUT, a lot of folks miss it because of scheduling or whatever. How bout a “Day2″ of the free games only for those who didnt log in and play on the first day? That way, everyone gets to play the free games if the qualified for it.
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head but I’m sure I’ll have more later.

Hi Stu, today I was thinking , maybe you could add a refresh to the rooms when we are in them , so that when we run out of funds, we can just fund and refresh and not miss any games . We have to leave room and come back in to add money.

I would Like to see a system developed by the Game Programmers .To Highlight the Players Name if they Did Not Purchase Cards. This way the Gm,s job would be much easier ,by not having to ask a hundred times over if they were in the game and the Other players would not be cheated out of bb,s that they Rightfully earned, while some other player is just sitting in chat trying to earn bb,s and not buying cards.
How about having a Chat game like…..when a lobby person wins chat gets a bb in a fund jar and it is raffled off at the end of the gm,s shift.Sounds good to me.lol

I am thinking ( I know dangerous) that many many years ago, there was a special night in the quarter room where cards only cost 10 cents. There was a card limit but cannot remember what it was. It was a lot of fun and had very nice pots.
Ok last thing I promise!!! This is in regards to money pot room I used to love playing that room until the game format changed. I wish there was a way to do a survey to see who likes it and who does not. I am sure there were good intentions in changing the format, but the pots are low and realistacly it is almost impossible to win the pjp in there with the format as it is. I really believe that more would play there if things were different. And like others were saying a change in patterns more often would be sooo nice. Also if the 11 game could play at night for those who cant be here during the day….Thanks for all everyone does at Mania, it is appreciated. And also: some of you may like this idea and some my not..but i often wonder if the next ball in the shoot was my winning ball. So I’m thinking after a game is won, if there could be a way to reveal all the balls in the shoot by sliding your pointer over it or just auto show them.. Just a thought. Thanks
Ooooooooh I like Becky’s idea of being able to see the next ball # in the chute after someone wins. I often think that mine was “next” and I’ve always loved knowing what the next ball was. I don’t know why. I’m a freak. lol

As some of you know, we’re planning a new upgrade for BingoMania.com in October with some very “cool” features — bingo bets, a social community feature for all of our bingo maniacs, new promotions, new slots, etc. … I promise, next week, I’ll do a complete post on the upcoming upgrade. This way you’ll know what we’ve got brewing for you at BingoMania HQ.
I would like to see a way where a Gm can automatically add the bb,s to a persons bank as soon as she awards them ,that would be great.Instead of doing all that paperwork.Waiting for the office and then having to argue with them when they make mistakes and then you get the run around back and forth, from Gm to office to do a ticket.Well I guess it’s the thought that counts.

For the life of me, I cannot see on Safepay out to withdrawl to either my bank card or my bank account. I’m with Flower61 on this one. I just don’t see how it’s possible to move funds from Safepay to your bank card/account. Anyone actually done it yet??

Stu in Loony Bin, is there a reason the 11 game does not play on Thursdays? Also is there any way to have it play in the evenings and/or later in the evenings. Some on the west coast and other places besides the US do not get to have a chance to play it and possibly win the PJP by playing it. Most of us love that pattern.

I really like Hope(Angie) #13 on blog. I understand there are fewer players at that time but how about a 15.00 prize game every half hr. all night and a 10.00 and 5.00. This would keep people up and for thouse that may go else were stay at mania were they belong lol.

I love this site. I have a suggestion, How about giving more playr achance to win in chat games. Now only 2 player can win. slow typers never win ,so what about 3players each game. Also why not give a player who deposit and don”t win any bbs or so fews bbs, give them a few from time to time. So of us can only deposit around the 1st of the month,unless we are bless with some extra funds. Thank you so much. Really love this site.

If I won the $25,000 pjp I would pay for my son senior dues ,buy his cap & grown and pay some of the money for his college education. And you know I would save some just to play all the games I love at Mania. Look out Dollar games here I come.

Personally I think you should at least win one game every time you deposit. It get really flustrating (sp)to keep depositing and not winning. On the lighter side, pre-buy would be great and the late night gaming. I too don’t sleep much and work all day. Can only play early morning or late at night. Bingo Mania is great have play here for several years. GM’s are great. I don’t go into chat so much and sorry for that (for the bb players) cause game usually ends up locking up. Love the site and thank you for the blog~~

I dont’ like this Safe-pay stuff. I joined but wasn’t able to get the amount they drew from my account until my statement came. Now it won’t let me on to update. And yes their help button doesn’t do a thing. I’ve played at Mania for several years, and been through several changes, mostly for the good! Keep the credit card deposit!!! Had to stop playing for awhile until that came back. Love the site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the blog. I love Bingomania. BUT, where I my KENO. I have been here so long that I believe Skippy thinks I’m part of the furniture and given me a ‘decent’ bingo win that I can brag about..lol
I hope to be getting back into the chat rooms and getting some of those BBs and fun. Bingomania is the best and serves as the therapy I enjoy the most. You think I can use my CC statements on my taxes as medical payments??….rofl

Wow..so many posts..not much else left to say…I do have to agree with the pre-buy plan..I know at times it’s tuff for every1 to play the games they would like… Due to work or other obligations..
I would really like to see some contests, like a Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas..you know..major Holidays..It would be fun to feel you are playing for something other than just a monetary prize..I also feel when it comes to chat games, perhaps there could be bb’s awarded for OOC…I know I hang in the lobby alot of times because the rooms are so quiet, no one is talking, I can’t stand the silence..rooms are for chattinggggggggg!!..This is a gr8 site..I am glad I am a part of it..Good Luck to all!!

o.k. where do I begin? Well for starters I would love to see a room dedicated to just quickie games or just have the numbers called faster on looooooooooooooong patterns. It can get really boring just sitting there waiting for the numbers to be called slowly but surely….lol. Also I would love to have keno night!!!!!
