Changes to Cash Out Policy
- as of June 1st, payouts will be processed once per week on Mondays
- In order to qualify for a cash out, there will be an industry standard wager deposit rule – you must wager 3 x your deposit in order to qualify for a payout
New Loyalty Program
We’ll be honest, this change is the most sensitive we had to make, however, we want to build a new system that truly gives more back to you and we’re very excited about it and we think you’ll love it.
We’ll be launching it in phases.
Phase I of the new Loyalty Program
The current VIP program will award bonuses for May. So in the first week of June, you’ll receive the bonus special you qualified based on the current VIP system. Then as of Friday, June 11th the following will kick in:
It pays to play at BingoMania.com with the new 20% Bonus Back every week:
Every week, we give back 20% of any losses you may have had from deposits made during the week. Loyalty Bonus back crediting will be on Fridays and will be calculated from the previous Friday – Thursday inclusive.
If you find yourself out of luck at the end of the week, Bingo Mania will help fix that by the new Bonus back Loyalty program.
i.e. you deposit $500 from Friday to Thursday and cashed out $200. You’ll to receive 20% on $300 ($500 deposit – $200 payout) = $60 bonus credit on Friday.

this just seems to be a high rollers site.
Ok I read the info about the new changes and I can tell you now you are going to loose a lot of business, you think it is bad now with the funding for us who have been real loyal to your company will not like losing our VIP loyalty every month. Your new system is no better than any other Bingo site I have tried, I have always come back to mania because of the system is fair. When I have to start spending 3 x’s my deposit before I can cash out Then where are you different from any one else, oh yah bye the way all other give better deposit bonuses when they do that so your already at a loss there.
I will not tell you I will continue to play as I might just have to find another site for sure. Most place offer daily special on deposit better than yours and your payout was what was so wonderful. Good luck to you sounds like you are going to need it.

I don’t know if this is a good thing… I started playing here because of the ease of payouts and the fun with winning. I was okay with the deposit bonuses because if i wanted a better bonus, i just deposited on the special days. I hope i will be able to stay and play.
You have to wager 3x your deposit amount to cash out? WTF I have been with Mania since 2006 and haven’t been anywhere else because every other site has that stupid greedy 3x’s crap! Well did a lot of research before choosing which site to play online bingo. BingoMania stood at as better then the rest, until now. Looks like i will be back searching for a new site to play at. No.. None of these changes seem exciting to me. I like the pajama party. I like Money Pot & Pack and Line. I am pretty upset about the loyalty program because I spent a lot of time getting myself to a level 8.. It wasn’t cheap.
Most people don’t deposit $500 in a week so the 20% back will be just a few dollars.
I also have played at many Bingo sites and I do always come back to Mania, but I agree with the post above… these changes do make Mania just like all of the others. I think it will be hard for you to keep new players, but I also think you will have a hard time keeping the players that have been here for awhile. I have been playing here for 4-years and the last few months haven’t been good for me.. These changes just seem to make it worse.
The information above is very specific about what you guys are taking away, but you don’t seem very specific about what you’re replacing it with. You just say that the changes will be very exciting.. I think not.. I’m gonna shop around.. I might be back but right now I’m not too happy.
Who deposits 350.00+ a day? How bout some good deals for small depositers?
The only place I played was money pot. I have been loyal for ten years. I simply am not desperate enough to continue under your new plan. I already play at other sites…but this has forced me to discontinue my relationship with Mania. The reason you lost customers was because of consistent problems with funding and poor options. Your loyalty bonuses was how you kept what you did. With the loyalty bonus gone…poor daily bonuses on deposits and no moneypot…I am gone and I believe many others. As in other comments….good luck…you are gonna need it.
I think the 3x deposit in order to cash out is absolutely ridiculous

Sad to see the changes. I haven’t deposited at all in May and won’t be anymore. i don’t play any where else but I won’t be back to mania either. The Mania we all came to love is going bye bye. OMG!! I cant believe you are dumping the moneypot room. That is the only room I have played in since I decided to come back to mania in Jan of this year. All I will say at this point is that I will wait to see what other rooms you have available on June 1st and if you have nothing comparable to moneypot then I will have to say Good Bye to Mania.
one of the reasons I first came to mania was because there was nothing in the rules about wagering 3 4 5 whatever times your deposit. you implement a rule like that you lose my business, simple as that.

I have been a member for at least 10yrs. I have built my status to above a Level 10. I have only been lucky enough to cashout big on 1 occasion. And you want me to start over.. dont think so.
Your program was one of the best around, why would you change it. If you believe that these new changes are going to bring you more players, I believe that you are mistaken.
And going from 3 payout days a week to 1 is also another mistake. I think that is why many liked the site, because of the 3 day payouts available.

Ok the only ones excited here is bingomania…I can not believe how you think that this is better…It’s NOT. I have not played since Easter when the site started to go south with the funding.I know I spent a ton of money as have alot of my friends. Thhis “New Changes” is a disaster. Playing bingo at Bingo Mania used to be fun. Deposit some cash, pick your room and buy some cards.
Now I am going to need a college statistics book on how to maximize by “return”. Still haven’t figured out what it takes to get by cash out.

wow getting deju vu here. this is exactly what happened to mania uk only dif is that was merged, i left there and looks like i will be doin the same here because a lot of us from mania uk came over to here because it was the mania we was use to but now u are doin the same, you are implementing changes without any consideration for the people that have been loyal to the site for years and it does not matter how you try and dress it up you are certainly not making these changes for the players and if you think it will generate business for mania i think you will find you are very much mistaken, the new changes are not going to attract new players because other sites offer better deals and they are going to lose you your loyal players the ones that have stuck with you for years. I realise you are a business and that things are bad but at the end of the day they would not have been as bad as they are if a majority pf the players had been able to deposit in past months. I suggest you read all the comments Stuart and rethink this because this is a big mistake and far from making it better for you i think you are in very real danger of losing mania altogether.

Well it never happened… yes the rooms are a little flashier…the look of the site has improved.
But in my opinion, someone else began taking the reigns, there no longer is the “Family” mentality, there is no drive to take care of the customer.
You took what was a great fun site and have wrapped it into some warped shiny business model that I cant seem to find charming.
I fully understand that business is business and that there are certain things that sometimes have to happen in order to survive the hard times, but these changes will only extend your hard times as people that have stayed because of the warm fuzzies of what Mania once was will be forced to look somewhere else to protect their bottom line (I am sure that you can appreciate that, as that is all that mania has been doing over the last couple years)

Me and my wife met here 7 years ago in the chat room from two different states. We have never played anywhere else. We for years have deposited over $1,000.00 a month. Sometimes we win big and sometimes we don’t. But the one thing that will keep us from not coming back is the once a week cash-out rule. So if we win $300.00 or $400.00 on Tuesday, we have to wait 6 more days for a cash out? That is crazy. That just gives someone the temptation to “reverse” their winnings and spend it all back with no deposit bonus. It’s bad enough to have to wager your deposit 3x. There must be another site out there that will appreciate their loyal customers better than this. These new rules just only put you in the same catagory as the rest of the other sites. There is nothing about this site that will “stand out” among the others. I really hate to leave. But that once a week cash out process just killed it for us.

I’ve been here for 11-12 years and thru all the changes over the years. I take breaks sometimes but always come back to mania. My biggest complaint about the new changes is about stopping the PJ parties at night. Many of us can’t sleep at night, either because of illness, pain conditions, things on our minds or just plain aging and being alone. The PJ party kept us company, kept us amused and kept our minds off our troubles and ills…please reconsider this change as I know having the company during late night hours has been a Godsend for many.
Well if these changes go through then It has been fun everyone but after I receive my loyalty bonus I will not be back. I am not going to waste my money or my time anymore. Ive been here since the day mania opened. Altho Ive seen alot of changes over the years I cant believe these new changes are for the positive. I really wish you would rethink the penny room and the all nite PJ Party !! the penny room is great when your low on funds and the All Nite Party was great for those of us on different time zones…not to mention GM HRT IS THE BEST !! so Im not sure what point your trying to make with these changes but I can tell that alot of players will be looking for other sites which I think is VERY SAD !!!

We all have put alot into mania for loyaties took long time to get to certain levels. And was like no other site on net now. Mania just gonna be another bingo site. Bingomania gained it’s popularity from being different and better than the other bingo sites. And they seemed to really care about their players. That’s what drew me here. That, as well as the great GM’s & players. Now it’s opting for an “industry standard” wager 3x your deposit before you can cash out??? That certainly doesn’t benefit the players and make the site better, from a player’s viewpoint. Add that to how many players mania’s already been losing with the $50 minimum cc option. These current decisions would appear to be hurting mania, not helping it. I understand it’s a business and needs to make money. But making decisions that are driving your loyal players away doesn’t sound like a good business plan to me.
the new cashout rules put you right in the pack with most other sites. you are going from leader of the pack to just another follower. its bad enough when we try to cash out now and look for our money only to find out its another holiday in st johns and payouts will be delayed almost 5 days. so if a st johns holday (which there seems to be tons of) falls on a monday we will wait over a week for our winnings. i can understand the closing of rooms due to economic conditions but the new cashout policies are going to be the beginning of the end.

When we go to land bingo, we spend our HARD EARNED money and if we win, we don’t have to wager 3x what we spent to or have wait a fricking week take our money home with us. While I do realize it may take a day or two considering the banking issues it is ridiculous to wait a week to even begin the transfer process.

I agree with every one else, this is a very very bad idea. Not only have I been a player here since day one but i have also been a CM and in the bingo industry for over 8 years.
Mania always stood out from the rest, no site could compete with Mania on many different levels, MANIA WAS JUST TOO GREAT A SITE, YOU WERE DIFFERENT and it WORKED!!!.
Being in the bingo industry for as long as i have, i have seen so many sites come and go, due to CHANGES, in the end, the sites closed.
They thought it was good improvements and the players would just have to adjust to the new rules. Well it didnt work, so after loss of players and not enough new players, the sites would try to go back to some old rules, deposit, loyelty, etc. but in the end, the damage was already done. In trying to survive,they even tried to merge with other sites or with parlay, but it was too late, the sites could not survive and had to close.
This is exactly what just happened to my site, where i worked at for along time, they made changes and in the end, tried everything above, but lost almost all loyel players and now dont have enough new players and had to let go all cms and management, the site is close to closing, its over.
STU, I BEG YOU TO PLEASE RETHINK THESE CHANGES, I CAN TELL YOU FROM EXPERIENCE, ITS NOT GOOD, THIS IS NOT A ” THE PLAYERS WILL ADJUST” SITUATION.
Mania was a very different site, its why we all LOVED it, and why most of us are still with you since day one in beta. YOU HAD THE BEST OF EVERYTHING, DEPOSITS, WITHDRAWALS, GAMES, ETC AND THE MOST IMPORTANT, A VERY RARE CASE, YOU ARE AN HONEST SITE!!!.
Continue with these changes Stu, and Mania will not be here in the future. Yes you may still be a site here in the future, but not with any player that is with you now. You will have players come and go just as every other site has.
Please Stu, again I have been through this with a few sites, i have been around the block, trust me. I know and understand all that you are planning, and its not good Stu, please RETHINK THIS.

I used to play here yrs ago, than went to another site where they after I deposited thousands of dollars dumped their vip players bonuses. I was level 11 out of 12 .They now have lost me and over 100 other players. you called me and I decieded to come back. I liked the 3days a week payout. I would think some of the new changes would be chat games , they are old games that started yrs ago. lol. and they are boreing. The 3x wager is crazy, I will only deposit 20.00 dollars at a time and nothing higher so I dont have to wager much if I decied to stay that is. NOT A HAPPY PLAYER.

Well I do agree with some alot of the same winners on here some of us never hit a dime. As far as ending the PJ party in Nuthouse I am very upset that was my favorite and the only time I can play sometimes.
You need to think about the players that do not get to play during the day and the ones who now will never get to play for bb’s.
As far as cashout rules I never won to cashout ever. In Fair and Square always seems same winners. Well I know the economy and chages do come but so many at one time not good.

When i first joined mania i was a little leary, but stood by you for many years..i don’t see why you have to close the money pot room..i play that room everyday..and the cashout, waiting a week , come on thats ridiculous!!I’ve been on a fixed income for many years due to my disability and put alot of money on here..needless to say I have never won anything big out of all the years i’ve been on here, yet stayed on because of the gm’s and the great players i met, payout options , and loyalty..now to have to wager 3x’s my deposit before i can cash out.. its uncalled for..there is no way i can continue to play under those circumstances..i struggled just to get at my level 8 and now thats going to be taken away, and the payout options as well..I wish you all the best , but it dosen’t look good at all!

It seems you no longer care about your loyal players wether they deposit very small amounts, you only want players with deep pockets now well in this day and age who the hell has those deep pockets, I spend $100 or more here a month I guess that will be money now going to another site.

This is all so WRONG – if Stu/Bingomania gave monkey’s about our opinion he could of been given so many different options.
You could reduce how often you play fixed pots – reduce how many bbs you give in chat games, maybe close a room or 2 for now but what you are doing with no communication to your loyal players is wrong.
Loyal bringing a whole new vibe – the MAIN reason you were better than other sites was due to the fact there was no wagering rule and alongside that the rewards for staying loyal NO matter how MUCH you could afford to deposit were better than anywhere else – all these changes just makes you EXACTLY the same as the other bingo sites BUT they are better than you now !! Because they do adhere to wagering rules at least 3 x – they ALSO let you withdraw your winnings (should you ever make enough back)at least 3 x a week – some are daily – however mania wishes for us to just wait a week at a time – you are off your trolley !!!!
Say I win 500 dollars like i did 2 weeks ago and that i had only deposited 20 dollars (which is what i do as it is all i can afford)I then have to hope that i either stay VERY lucky and make that turn into a lot more or it gets spent as most of your players not only play daily but for a long time each day too – this means there is nothing to withdraw when you are finally able to.
You are ripping every player off.

This is just to vent as every normal person knows this blog and the facebook site will change absolutely nothing – you have adopted the attitude that as we have all been loyal for years that will carry over into changes – WRONG. I also seriously object to losing my loyalty level – again that took a lot of money to get it – another rip off again.

Please listen to your players, and a response would be nice, too! I, like many other players, have been here since day one. It took a lot of time and money to reach level 10, and now you want to take that away from us. In all the years I have been here, I have won maybe 3 small jackpots, not 3 or 4 a month like some of the players, I’m sure those are the ones who will stick around. I play here everyday before work, and throughout the day, and always the same winners. I’m playing since 6 this morning,and now the same players are winning the $50 games. Sorry, but once my money is gone, which won’t be long now, so am I.
Well I never thought I would think of leaving Mania, but the wager rule has finally made me change my thinking. I have been at Mania since it began and have cashed out a total of 4 times, and believe me I have spent a lot more than I ever cashed out. I have a casino 15 miles from me so what I spend here each month I will now let them have.
Thanks for the years of enjoyment, I will miss it but not enough to take this punishment for playing

Thanks for your comments. I am doing further calculations and will get back to you with more info soon. For the moment however, I just want to say:
1. The average player here at Mania wagers 10x’s what they deposit, so the 3x’s rule does not affect many players.
2. The new loyalty calculation of 20% on your netloss gives 8 out of the 11 vip levels more money than before. The loyalty program should have been revamped years ago. The problem with it is that some players who benefit highly from it, do not deserve to do so, while others who should benefit more cannot with this structure. With the upcoming changes the greater majority will benefit more.
3. I am open to increasing the deposit bonuses from what we proposed to the following:
$20 – $49 = 50%
$50 – $99 = 100%
$100 – $199 = 150%
$200+ = 200%
4. I have made the proposed changes here at Mania in the hopes of making it better for our loyal and fair players and also in the hopes of making it harder for the players who constantly seek to take advantage of my site.
I realize that being the ONLY site without any wagering requirements was a plus to some of you. I realize that a small group of players is going to be adversely affected by this change. I can only say that I will no longer turn a blind eye to the few of you who are taking complete advantage of me.
To the greater majority of you who are going to be totally unaffected by these changes. I can only ask that you give these changes a chance and see if they have truly affected you for the negative. My bet is that you will be better off. They will give me the freedom to offer better daily incentives and specials, while protecting myself from the people who are taking advantage of the site.

I really think you are trying to make this sound better and good for you on trying, I have been a level 10 player for almost 2 years. I have funded thousands and thousands of dollars to get their. I no longer work and I love that I get my bonus every month and look forward to it, I fund more than I have to to get it each month, I have no hit a pot over $150.00 in over 1 1/2 and watch the same winners win over and over and yet I am still here. You have taken away from me my fun time and a chance to visit with wonderful GM’s. SO wtg to Mania for hurting all your loyal players. I had a cash out for the first time in over a year last month and now I am being penalized for doing that lol it was for $150.00 GO FIGURE.

Yes I am sure everyone wanted to hear from you for a while now, but it still does not say anything for the withdrawal only being 1 day a week that’s not right it should at least be 2 days and spaced out evenly. Yes I am sure Mania has to make changes and I understand you doing them but the loyalty levels should remain the same it took a lot of money from some of us such as I (level 10) to get there. So if this new loyalty program has levels then you should put us at our appropriate level or at least for the ones that are 8,9 or 10. I guarantee that had you gave us more than 2 weeks notice on this whole thing and explained it like you just did, your reactions would have been different. I would love to stay and play this is my home, my family. I might give it a try and see how it goes. If the level 10 people don’t really get affected by this then maybe I will stay. We’ll see what happens.
I am not worried about the new changes. I play a lot of slots, so I am always wagering a lot more than my deposits. I like the sound of the new deposit bonuses. A little change never hurt anyone and this will still be the best bingo site there is!
I agree I spend MUCH more than 3x’s before I ever see enough to cash out but if ever I should be lucky enough to get a cashable win on the first play of the deposit … to make me spend 3x’s the deposit seems highly unfair… unless you plan on doing an annual spend verses cashout to calculate…
i am currenty a level 9 and have worked very hard to get there. I have NEVER won a JP, or even close to it for that matter. In fact, i don’t remember winning anything over $150 in bingo for the past year. This change might be good for me. It’s about time i start spending less money on bingo and more time being productive and with my family. And for all of those players that complaing about people not being in chat, i am one of them. It’s very easy to buy cards while i make dinner, fold laundry etc, but i can not also chat and do those things. After reading the comments and especially Stu’s comment I fully understand what Stu is saying. I only deposit minimum amounts because one I have very limited funds and two the thought of winning and being able to cash out, which is fantastic, but losing anymore than what I receive of the free bbs to play with would make me ill.
This is the only sight that people with higher loyalty levels don’t have to do major deposits to maintain their level status, or keep earning, they only have to make a tiny deposit in order to play the bbs at the beginning of the next month (this is one of the parts where I’m thinking that Stu is getting taken advantage of!!). I have worked up my level too but not quite to level 10.
The things I don’t like are the once a week deposit day, the 3x wager to cash out, getting rid of the money pot and the pj party.

well i feel the loyalty program was already shot. i have deposited much money to this site and had some financial difficulties the last few months where i had to stop playing and never received an loyalty bonus because my account had been inactive. i was very loyal to bingomania for quite some time,and my loyalty was stopped pretty quick. i guess what i was confused about was what about all that money i did spend before. I won’t be coming back here i miss HRT especially and u guys are making a huge mistake by taking away the pj parties.

I took have been a mania fan for almost 9 years. Took a long time to become a 10. I use to play night and day. Just all the time holidays you name it love it here. Mania has made lots of changes, just like some of the players there are alot of players that were able to fund alot with working or some other way. But I know with me since I have become disabled, I cannot fund like I use to wish I could but can’t spent alot of money here also. Now on fixed income very hard for me to make ends even meet but sometimes and some how I try to fund and play here. Wish I could everyday. Its not just me like it is lots of players like this. We are growing old with mania and lots have sicknesses and illnesses.So please don’t think cause some of us dont fund as much as we use to, we want too but just can’t

To the people who continue to complain that the same winners win and insinuate that I am rigging the site and cheating people, I am confused why you would support a site that you are insinuating is dishonest? I wouldn’t. I take those comments personally given the fact that my name is attached to this site, and given the fact that I have done everything in running this site with a total commitment to honesty and integrity.
It would seem to me that if a bingo operator wanted to rig his games it would be better for him to make it so that the same person never wins twice.
I don’t jump for joy when somebody goes on a big lucky streak, nor do I jump for joy when the same person wins more than one progressive jackpot. But I can’t do anything about that. It wouldn’t be a random number generator if I was trying to influence it.
I am reconsidering only having Withdrawals on Mondays, but haven’t come to a definite conclusion as yet. I will keep you posted on this blog tomorrow.

In regards to Stu’s comments I do want to say a couple things. For the VIP Mania gives is high I agree with changing that. We are on a very fixed income due to my husbands illnesses and surely can not deposit $1000 a month so many of us get screwed out of that and will never be able to get there thats not really fair in my opinion. Loyalty I think should stay being many have been years and worked hard to get to their level.
Again as far as the 3x wager I never ever had the pleasure to cash out as some have many times and I guess it would be fair if as you say Stu many of us wager that anyways except for a few which I believe. I do believe there may be a few who never wager what many of us do.

I am very sorry to hear that you are changing the wagering requirements. 99% of the sites have a wagering requirement and I have certainly been affected by that. There were several ocassions that I requested a payout but was unable to because of the wagering requirement. We don’t know from what deposit or day this requirement begins and ends so it is hard to determine when you are eligible to cashout.
I have just recently discovered 2 websites that do not have wagering requirements and have huge jackpots and regular games. They are awesome sites, however I always come back here. I have only cashed out one time in all the years that I have been playing so you guys most certainly have benefited from my playing. I guess I will have to play at the other halls that do not have wagering requirements in the hopes that one day I will cashout.

In your endever to expand and change, you have lost site of players that were willing to stay with you from the old FREE sight,were Nabours was a $20.00 fee to play. The enital change over was a living night mare were the sight was going down all the time. The joke was we all needed seditives to cover with drawls,from our Mania .We got threw it on ICQ talking with the GM and other roomies.
Mania was known for its caring attatued to all members of this sigh,and be dang the idiot who disputed the marate of our sight.We were and are nuber one.

At first I was very very upset and said a lot of anger on the FaceBook site and for that I apologize I have deleted all of my comments from there. You have always been good to me, it was just very upsetting to hear at first but now that you have explained yourself (not like you had to) I truly understand ((((hugehugs)))) because I know your taking a beating here but You can more than likely count on me staying, besides were like family and yes families do fight but they also make up and move on lol So here I am making up and moving on to a better Mania, Can’t wait to see what changes you actually decide to do and do away with. For anyone that thinks there’s “ghost” players your crazy Mania has always been a fair site. It’s gambling the more you spend the more you win, but I have seen some win with 1 card so its all a game of luck. I had a few ideas just in case you were interested Why not make it so you have to buy like 4 cards in the Looney Bin and 2 card in High roller and 5 cards in the nuthouse in order to win bb’s in there. Plus in order to be eligible for bb’s they must deposit every 7 or 14 days instead of 30 days. Just a couple ideas then maybe if you put those in affect you could do this and give us another payout day or maybe a few different games like lotto or keno back those were cool and it made mania fun. In regards to the “wagering” rule, do we just have to wager our deposit or our deposit and bonus? Most sites with wagering requirements make you wager both. This is something I have been wondering about…..I usually deposit small amounts and I don’t want to have to wager an outrageous amount to be able to withdraw if I win.

Well I just joined Mania in Dec. 2009 after which I tried other bingo sites but came to Mania because of its reputation and many good things about it, don’t take it all away. I have met many nice people and some good friends and will always have Mania to thank for that.
I have read your comments Stu about everything and some I do agree with. If you state that many of us already wager 3x before cashing out then I guess it should be okay. I never ever won enough to cash out. As far as payouts should at least be 2 days a week, maybe Mon and Thurs. If I ever hit on a Monday and got the chance to cashout I would not want to wait until the next Monday. We play yes for fun but also to win!!!
Now as far as the VIP bonuses we iike many others are also on a very fixed income with my husband’s illness therefore we would never get the VIP bonus being there is no way we could put in a $1000 a month or more. I do believe that the VIP bonus was not really fair to all players of which some of us can not compete for that in a month.
When the $50 deposit came that hurt me and many others being I can not afford $50 a pop every time so that went downhill for me. I don’t think this site has any good deals for small depositers like me.
Now closing MP that is one of my favorite rooms. I have not yet to hear about any other rooms opening but 3 rooms is surely not many and will be very hard for some to win. Well I really don’t know but guess have to see how this all works out. I just think closing rooms down you should have new ones to open right away also.

Oh I also forgot to add I do believe you when you say there are maybe a few people who would not agree with the wager. Its sad that 4 people as you state cause these changes for all your players not fair. I see it happen though.

I will miss all of my friends and all of the wonderful GM’s that have made playing bingo her fun for the last 4 years.
Stu, there’s just one more thing I’d like add. I’m not a high roller. I’ve only cashed out once with a $750 win since I’ve played here (I’m not sure how many years I’ve been here, but it’s been a few). But if I were to hit a big enough win to want to cash out again, I feel that’s my money & I should have the right to it. Just because the other sites have these rules that allow them to hang on to winners’ money until they give a certain percentage back to the house doesn’t make it right. I’m sorry there are players out there that are apparently taking advantage of the system, though I’m not sure how they’re doing it. I get frustrated myself when I see the same winners win over & over & over again, though I don’t accuse you of any wrong going. It’d be great if that random number generator could be more random with who gets the lucky cards though. lol I do understand you’re running a business and you have to protect the business and make a profit as well. I’m just sorry these few taking advantage are spoiling it for the rest of us. I love playing here and will continue to do so, at least for now, until I see how things play out. I have been here for years…
I have spent the last 3 days trying to figure out how a player could “game” the system… it’s been driving me nuts!
I deposit enough to get the V.I.P. bonus every month, so initially,I was thinking maybe what was happening was that certain level 10′s were just getting to 10 and then depositing just enough to get their bonus and then winning say a HR CA and then cashing out???
I have no clue, what I do wonder is why you dont just eject those players from the site?
Or make a standard that in order to keep your level status you have to play a certain amount??
I personally know that the site is not rigged as I have won some very nice PJP’s and if the sit was rigged, I certainly would not have won them…
That said…I also deposit a large amount over the weeks, months, years that I have been here.
I guess, what more players would like is more info…if someone in my home did something to irritate me, and I smacked everyone in the house up the backside of the head without an explanation, well there might be a mutiny…
So, since these changes effectively “fix” the way some people were exploiting the site…How about filling us in on why these changes were necessary?

Kudos to Stu for taking the time to listen to his players. As a level 10 player i also enjoy the bonus and perhaps the new setup will be even more advantageous to some of us. When i play in Atlantic City or Vegas I am awarded free room, free meals, and free shows. Some sites online do not offer any sort of extra bonus other than the one they offer when you deposit. Is willing to wait to see if this new system works out. The main concern here is with the cashouts. I admit i cash out quite often from here because at those times it makes sense to do so. It is a gambling disipline for me as well as the amount i bet on each game. Each player must decide whats best for them and play accordingly. My corcern is if you deposit a 100 bucks on Weds night and go into high rollers and hit first game for $250, then try your luck at slots and happen to hit a few hundred there, you should be able to bailout at that moment and get your cashout on Friday. To hang around and give most or all of it back doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I’m gonna hang in here for a bit and see how it goes and hoping stu makes the right decisions.

Well no one likes changes but to be honest I can see Stu’s point of view. I used to work for Mania UK so have seen changes like this before. Yes they will hit some people, but for the majority the 3x wagering rules wont alter anything.
The cashouts – hmm – well I too would like to see perhaps twice a week ??? other sites I have been to make you wait 2 days before the cashout process even starts and then it can be another 7 days on top of that before the money arrives in your bank account/credit card.
Minimum deposit – there has to be a minimum and that will be set in part by the credit card processors fees the site can only swallow so many charges.
BBS – I saw a good suggestion – can you not change the minimum card requirement – that could work.
Perhaps a limit on the number of bbs people are allowed to earn each day ??
I for one will give the changes a go and if they dont work for me then I may look around, but at least I am prepared to give them a go.
Can I wish all the GM’s who will be leaving all the best and was nice meeting you all I know Mania is like family to all the people that work there and the players.

The wagering rule means that if you deposit $50 you must wager at least $150 before you attempt to cash out. Your bonus is available to you to make up this number. For instance if you play through your $50 cash and then receive a bonus of $50, you can continue wagering your bonus to try to get to the $150 requirement. Since most of you get at least 10x’s your deposit in wagering, this shouldn’t be a problem.
If you deposit $50 and hit a jackpot on the first game, you cannot withdraw it until you’ve wagered $150.

Dear Stu: Thank you for some clarification on the upcoming/pending changes. I am currently a level 8 player and have been for some time. I also look forward to the once a month deposit bonus based upon my play. I am not a really heavy bettor but an extremely steady one with concurrent deposits any bingo site would relish having. I am quite sure I would not be happy with the once a week payouts. The wagering of 3x the deposit amount before a payout would not adversely affect me as I always leave lots in to play with. As I said before—I have been here alot of years, played alot of money in and won relatively little back. I, however, am not a sore loser and grateful for whatever comes my way. But should I win an amount worth cashing in, I would be very unhappy having to wait so long for it. I do wish you well in these endeavours—it appears you will need more than just luck with the implementation. HI Stu: I have to say what Emommy wrote in the 95th entry says it all perfectly. I am not happy about the loyalty level change as I as has many of us put alot of money into getting to the levels that we’re at. I love Mania, I know it’s an honest site, I love my roomies and the GM. I will sooooo miss Lynn! I will stay as long as my roomies stay thats for sure. I have made many friends here and don’t want to loose that. So I’ll be here for a while unless things get to confusing to deal with. I’d like to say to the GM’s that are leaving…. I am a small depositer too and my loyalty level is only 6 after 8 years I think..It’s a shame the old saying goes,”1 bad apple spoils the barrel.”In this case it’s 4 players…I will stay for awhile if the 150% stays for Wednesdays and Saturdays,but beyond that,I will see.I joined Mania when I lived in the U.K.many years ago,but at that time it wasn’t U.K. Mania.I fell off my chair when I won my first PJP, just over $700.Back then your winings were put on the credit card you used.Then all that changed.Moving back and forth internationally,and moving back to Canada,I won my 2nd PJP in 2009.4 years had passed but was due to all our moves.I still left in $90 odd to play,but soon lost that.I don’t like all the changes either and have been very upset to lose some very good GMs.the Mastercard is gone now so will have to purchase pre-paid Visas.Anyway Stu I will give it a shot and see how things go…

I can understand if times are tough and you can’t be as generous as usual. It is completely your right not to give deposit matches, loyalty, or bb’s. That is YOUR money. However, when a player wins, it is not your money, it is THEIR money. To attach strings and make it difficult to claim winnings is being unfair with their money. You have a great site and I’m sure everyone wants you to stay in business. If you have to take my loyalty or decrease my bb’s to do so, I would not like it but I would understand. There are no restrictions on taking my money when I make a deposit. You don’t have to wait a week to collect the cash or can only have the funds I deposited if you meet certain criteria. It would be greatly appreciated if it went both ways. Thanks for listening. I have played at lots of sites who did not care whether their players were happy or not and you seem to be open-minded and fair and care about your players.

One other comment I wanted to make. There sure are alot of nabor games way more than call games. I played in the Nuthouse yesterday for the fixed games from 8 pm – 12 am and I can say not many bb’s given out more than half the game winners were not in the room (so no nabors) and some won more than once.
How about a few more call games in the evening too. Just a suggestion.

I figured something out here so does this mean with the new loyalty program if I deposited $1000 for the month and did not cash out a penny I would receive 20% which is only $200 so in order to receive the usual $500 in loyalty Id have to deposit $2500 now with no cash outs for the month? I cant see how anyone can take advantage of the site. They must have deposited to play. So if they win enough and wish to cash out I cant see the problem. If you go to land bingo they dont tell you , you cant get paid because you didnt spend enough money. Or if you go to a casino and win a jackpot , they dont say well you didnt play enough money. The 3x wager doesnt bother me.
I do not beleave the site is rigged, I have cashed out acouple of times , not large amounts but found its easy and always got paid.

now some advise firstly i applaud your interaction on a personal level with your client base stu)i used to work on a gaming site and witnessed some very bad decision making by the owner that cost him thousands in loyal player support dollars so here is my advise to you.
1.give notice well in advance that changes are coming.
2.only implement 1 or 2 changes at a time
3.makes sure you replace any bonus options with ones very similar perhaps for exzample bonus that build over time but end up paying more out,giving you more time to absorb the losses.
4.make sure all players get a little somthing somthing lol small players have the potential to become big players
well thats about it i havent had my 2nd cup yet so brains not funtioning at full capacity lol

I had thought with my suggested changes that people would be happy to deposit a bigger amount for a larger bonus, however I see that this would penalize people who can’t afford to make any bigger deposits than they already are.
So with that in mind, I will not change the deposit bonus structure at all. Players will continue with their current VIP levels and deposit bonuses.
What i can promise you though is that with our new rules I will be able to offer you bigger deposit days than the 150% that we offer now.

Obviously the new changes are exciting to you, its taking our winnings out of our pockets and lining yours. This site used to be a no nonsense site without all the stupid deposit rules that all the other sites out there have. The 3x your wager is just a way to make it almost impossible for anyone to cashout, not to mention by going to once a week processing your limiting players to a once a week withdrawl. If thats the case your going to see a big drop in cashflow as people don;t deposit for a week at a time while they are waiting for their withdrawl to be processed. I usually deposit at least twice a week and have been a LOYAL player for almost five years now but I know that this will change that. If I’m waiting to get paid from you, I will be spending my money elsewhere in the meantime.

Let me try to get rid of any confusion.
The new Loyalty rewards are based on 20% of your net loss. You are still eligible for a reward every week even if you withdraw. The only situation in which you would NOT be getting a reward is if you withdraw MORE than you deposit.
For instance, if you deposit $100 and withdraw $40, you’re net loss will be $60 and you will get 20% of that which would be $12.
I thought that it would be more fun for players to get their 20% loyalty bonus each week, but if the majority of players would prefer to get it at the end of the month, I don’t have a problem with that.
As I stated earlier, we will keep the VIP levels as they are, so if you are a level 8 you will remain at that level and receive an 80% bonus on your deposits.

Your decision with the VIP loyalty sounds great I just think the VIP Gift is not fair not all of us can deposit $1000 or more a month, but then that is just my opinion. I guess whatever happens will happen.
OK…I finally have a question, and a comment. lol So, we keep the same VIP level regarding our deposits, but not for the monthly VIP bonus? I think both should remain the same. Just finished my last game here. I was a level 10, received my bonus, and not one game did I win. Good Luck to all of you who stay.
Thank you Stu – for listening and responding. The monthly loyalty bonus means alot as well as keeping the loyalty level the same for us people who have taken years to get where we are. I know change is never easy and it was probably a bad idea to try to change all these at once. I will continue to give Mania a chance and see how it goes. I do miss the other rooms – having only 3 choices really limits the game options.
I just think the cashout needing 3x wager is absolutely absurd. Between this and the fees I have to pay to even get my money you might as well just say your paying out 1/2 of what we win…. Its just another way to disguise keeping more of our winnings.
NOT happy about loosing the additional rooms, all you are doing is forcing more people to play in a smaller number of rooms, this decreases everyones chance of winning something (even small amounts).. I have been with Bingomania for many years, over 10. When I started playing,you only had nickel and dime rooms. I have seen many changes, but these changes will make me leave Bingomania. I have had only one occassion to cash out a big jackpot and I’ve deposited a lot of money over the years. I will miss playing here, but with it being so hard to deposit money and now these ridiculous changes, I won’t be staying.

I really wish you would at least reinstate the PJ Party. It really helped me on lonely nights to have somewhere to play and chat when I was hurting really bad or having trouble breathing. I have osteogenesis imperfecta, copd and am HIV+ and those nights were a really big help, now you have taken that away from me

I thought you were going to keep the vip and gift the first thursday of month. I deposited based on that.I just found out that you will NOT be giving those bonuses. I am not a happy Camper. I would also like to say while I am steaming, that I too don’t understand how so many of the same people win jackpots, and others don’t. I actually spend less, and not trying to put in that thousand for the month to get an extra bonus is actually a relief. I still deposit but am more frugal. Which is less frustrating when I don’t win..lol. I too see the same winners winning over and over that is why I thought Andrea was going to run a report of percentage of winners for us loyal players. JuLY 1st..another disappointment…no loyalty bonus anymore. I have played here for over 10 years…stayed here and built up points so that I was high on the loyalty status. Guess it doesn’t matter that I have stayed with bingomania this long. Your new system rewards new people, not the players that have stayed by your side in good times and bad. New bonus system is great for the newbies but shame on you for taking away our monthly vip reward. I think accusing somebody of being a cheat is a very strong accusation. And while I respect people’s freedom of speech, I’m not obligated to let anybody slander me or my site just because they are feeling angry or unlucky.
If you truly think something is fishy with the way the games here are set up then you really should not play here. That’s not a threat, that’s just common sense.
Debra, our loyalty rewards are now credited weekly instead of monthly. The system has changed slightly but only to benefit the patrons that play at the site the most, which is fair.
