It brings us great sadness to announce that as of January 1, 2009 at 1 am EST, the Lucky Lane and Nick Nacks rooms will be closed. The rooms have been struggling along for some time now and it is no longer feasible to keep them open. Please check back here for all the latest updates when we move the Lucky Lane and Nick Nacks Jackpots. We want to express our deepest appreciation to all of our players over the past years!! THANK YOU!!

I agree this is really sad.. I am so sorry for the GM’s that will be loseing their jobs over this… I am sure alot will not be playing due to ONLY 4 rooms being open.. I would guess this is a NO to the fair and square room BILL was talking about
This is really sad.To all the GM’S that will be leaving us im very sorry and going to MISS YOU ALL VERY MUCH..I will keep my fingers crossed for what ever the reason maybe why the rooms were so low on players that something will be figured out for you all to come back again. I wish you would keep it open, It is my fav room. Plus only have 4 rooms to choose from and a couple of them I can’t afford to play in, It doesn’t leave me with much choice.
I am so sad. My favorite room is knicknacks it felt like coming home every time I entered. I very rarely went to any other rooms. I will miss the GMs very much.
i am not very happy with mania right now.you are losing your best gm kocoa. i dont believe you are even thinking about the players that go to kocoas room for her love and support.i think you are making a big mistake. surely there are other options
This is sad i hate to see gms lose their jobs. The nick nacks room was one of my favorites i hate to see it go its been here ever since i started playing on this site in 2000.
Disappointment has set in ….those are the only 2 rooms I enjoy and the GM’s that work those rooms are the best that Mania has.I do understand there comes a time to make decisions, but you should also think about having the the right people in the right places.Looks like we will all be saving money.
How about closing the money pot. Or offering 150 % bonus 3 days a week so people deposit more . There are alot of options you can consider. Please help us understand why you would close the 2 best rooms. Maybe you should have more fixed pots in those rooms to bring the players?And I think you need to play fast games all day and take away those games that take 10 to call 1 game! I am sorry but I am very angry over this. I might need to start searching to web for a new home.How about 4 or 6 hours shifts for GM’s ? Because the gm is a very important part of the room. Maybe you should let the players vote and let you know who they would like to see stay, bet you would be surprised!

It truly isn’t fair on them, I will miss the Knickack Room I love playing in there…I think a lot of players will stop playing.. It might hurt Mania in the long run The Good GM’s are leaving and the Not so good Staying maybe a re-think on who you lay off…
There seems to be some misinformation about who was laid off and who wasn’t, please do not pass information along until it has been verified by either Bill or me.
Bingomania along with many other companies’ works with the rules last hired first let go process. We know that many of you do not like these decisions but we do hope that you will understand that letting people go is never a fun thing to do but has to be done. And when it has to be done, it needs to follow the rules set by the company that many of you may not have been aware of.
The decision to close Nick Nacks and Lucky Lane was not an easy one. We know that a lot of players liked these two rooms, thus making the decision to close them that much harder. These two rooms have been struggling for a very long time and consistently losing money and sadly the only option was closure. You as the players do not see the statistics of rooms giving away more in BB’s than the prize is worth, this is where the site loses money and where decisions have to be made. None of this was done to upset anyone. Sometimes business decisions are not popular ones but nevertheless have to be done.
I LIVE ON FIXED IN COME AND CAN’T PLAY THE HIHER PRICED ROOMS ALL DAY LIKE I DO NOW. IF U SHUT DOWN
DIMES I WILL BE FORCED TO LOOK ELSE WHERE TO PLAY AND I LIKE THIS SITE AND THE GMS. I PLAY LOONEY BUT CAN’T PAY THAT ALL DAY.
I WISH U HAD OTHER OPTIONS. I LIKE THE DIME ROOM TO MANY IN THE NICKEL ROOMS TO WIN BBS OR BINGO AND RELAX TOO.
I have noticed thats it’s two of the lowest priced rooms that are closing leaving just one open and I suspect that is just a sweetener, how long before that one closes too I wonder? sorry but I think this is just a way of getting roomies to spend more money for mania’s pocket. I agree with a comment already made that with a choice of only 4 rooms now a lot will think about finding a new home more so when they have lost their favourite gm’s or they have gone to a room where they don’t or can’t play for reasons of their own.
I feel so sorry for the gm’s who have lost their jobs and they will be truly missed. you ask us to try and understand the reason for this, but have you really thought about us? the smaller rooms were like a family where we could go and have fun, talk and relax, now we will be just a name in a crowded room..
Well…….please fill us in on who is leaving and when?, so that we can say a proper good bye and clear up all rumors
Im sorry I feel this way but maybe we should of had a say in who was staying and who was going becasue there are a few that should be going and a few that should be staying and then we find out this information all of sudden, you can not expect us to be happy. Also I understand the business part of it and I also understand that the customer is always right and I don’t remember in the past 6 years being asked our opinion to help make these deisions its always been told to us after the fact and as far as I am concerned we the players are the ones that keep mania up and running. Did you take notice to how many players were lost over the BB issue, just imagine how many players are going to go now because certain players don’t like to play in certain rooms when certain gm’s are working. You should really take a vote make it where the players names do not show and get rid of the lowest ones this way we have a say. This is not fair.
Please do not get me wrong I love mania and will probably never leave no matter what the situation is, this is my home, but I like many others have a right to be upset…
Please try and figure out a way to make this right. Because right now it just seems way to unfair!

I strongly agree with the rest of my fellow bingo players! What happened to mania? Seems to me things are going downhill and fast! There are going to be alot less players now that those 2 rooms are coming down and GM’s are leaving. I love this site but if my fav GM goes I’m gone too!

We understand everyone frustrations, the blog is for you to voice your opinions, and while we do value your opinions it seems a lot of you are overlooking a few things.
The closing of these 2 rooms is not an attempt to force any players to play in any higher priced rooms or leave the site; there will still be a variety of rooms for everyone to play in at different card prices.
Unfortunately we cannot please everyone and as I previously stated if a room is giving away more in bbs than what the prize of the game is worth, in the long run, it is not at the sites best interest to keep these rooms open
We can not pick or choose which gms stay or which gms are to be laid off. It saddens us to lose any of our gms. We think they all have done a fantastic job! In situations such as this, we have to follow guidelines that have been set by the company. These guidelines have always been based on the levels of seniority, and will continue as such.
I am so very sad about this. I play in nicks everyday. Couldn’t mania conciter lowing the fixed pots games to 25.00 and the bbs to 50 cents?
That would help us keep our room.

Don’t be in despare roomies and all! BingoMania is one of the Utmost trusted sites you will find and like a Great Marriage or anything else, when 1 door closes 1 more opens. Mania is doing what needs to be done for the Company and the roomies, it’s just harder on the roomies and the GM’S. While everyone’s got their favorite GM’S, go and
vote on them and put in that Vote for Bingo Mania.

I have a thought for whatever it is worth, why not limit the GMS in those 2 rooms until prime time, like say 8pm -1am? I have played at other sites in the past that did this in the lower priced rooms and they were packed during the times that a GM was present. During the other periods, just lock the chat rooms if need be.
I agree with some of the other players, I can’t afford to play very often in any other rooms. I hang out mostly in lucky lane.
Please give this alternative some thought. I truly understand the expense involved when the pot is less than a dollar and the GM gives away 2 BBs per game.

I dont play here much, I just cant afford it. And when I do play, its at the dimes room and nacks. I cant believe you’re shutting down those two rooms, and I think it will be a great loss. I think your site is great, but its gong to show a bigger loss now when you shut those rooms down. Im sorry to see them and the GMs go.

I started playing this site in the Nick Nacks room. THat was 1o years ago. I have made many dear friends and laughed and cried with many of them. It will be sad to see that one room in particular go. It was the first room for many of us. Hopefully they can keep the better GM’s. I have known Lynn since starting to play at this site and she has made one hell of a GM. Love to you all.
I think lowering the BB’S is a GREAT idea.. Hopefully they will do this and we dont lose the gm’s and players:) Hopefully we will be keep posted on what is going on and if they will do something to keep them rooms up and running..
Seeing as what is done is done already I think they should bring the free room back and the penny room now that we have 2 rooms open that neither need a gm or give bbs out in them

i like the ideas that have been posted about lowering the bbs or just have a gm during fixed pots or prime time to even out the pay out of bbs.I hope that bingomania will take this ideas into consideration maybe try to keep at least one of the rooms open!

Wow, I knew nothing about this til I went to sign in this morning. How sad. I’m so sorry for the GM’s that have lost their jobs. Hopefully a better solution will be realized soon. I just went into NH and it had 80 people playing. And that’s in the morning with no fixed pots! I’m not a high roller. What I’ve loved about Mania is the fact I had a chance to win once in a while. Now, with this many people in a room, my chances to win have diminished greatly. And with less rooms for the high rollers to play in, the odds of winning go down even more. I understand the financial situation from the corporate level, but I wish other options, including the ones noted here, had been considered. I guess time will tell how this will play out…
i like all the rest am very upset with the closing of these rooms i will look for another site to play bingo i can not afford to play in the higher priced rooms and now the nickle room is just to crowded and i feel i have no chance to win thanks for the memories
I too, am very unhappy to see these rooms closed.
The odds of winning when there are over 100 people playing in one of only four choices of rooms available to play in, has greatly declined.
I just went in to the Nuthouse for the first time since the midnight closing of Nick nacks and what I saw brought a smile to my face. There were 89 people playing and the pot for a regular bingo game was $43.21. That is higher than any fixed pot in nick nacks ever was. Maybe its closing will be a blessing in disguise for the players. Not so much for the gm’s who are no longer here but for the players its a bonus.
I would be smilling too if I could win one of those big pots ROFL! With that many peeps, I really dont see that happening for me much, lol
I have a Question?? Hopefully it will be answered !!! Now that the 2 rooms are gone and there are more players in each room are they going to change the BBS back to the way it was?? If the player dont answer for the BB can they pass it along to the next?? I think this will keep some of us players around longer…
Not fun here anymore. Larger groups of peeps in rooms takes away the personal conversations we used to be able to have. No chance to win with larger groups of players in nickel rooms. At least with smaller groups of players I had a chance. Too many changes and not good ones has ruined this site (in my opinion). Won’t be voting for #1 site anymore either. Been here over 10 years, such a shame. Once this money is gone, so am I. Good luck to all the players. I will try to stop in and say Hi every once in a while.
Unless you play on an off time when there are not too many players the odds become greatly reduced for winning. At least before the players were broken up.
Well along with the rooms , I too am saying farewell. Just can’t win anymore and now with my favorite room gone, it just isn’t any fun to be here anymore. So Happy New Year to all, may you all be blessed this year.

i played here new years day and the odds of winning are shattering so i left and went to another site and made a deposit, and i won some money not like here.the solution should be to cut down on the freebies and play more coveralls as they always have a lot of people. 1 bb per game to 1 person. make coveralls less money and have twice an hour. or some such thing but give us more rooms to playe in. 100 people in one room to many to enjoy and relax and have fun chating.

I havent been playing for a while and just logged in to see whats new.. Sad to see these two rooms go. Lucky lane was one of my favorites. But i guess i understand that they cant keep rooms where they dont earn money.. Dont really like that most of the rooms are high prised now tho but guess ill just have to live with that if i can ever afford another deposit.. been struggling a bit lately so havent been able to deposit.. So if anyone has been missing me thats why. Hope i can afford to deposit again tho cause i really miss all u guys..

i did not want to give my opinion but today is just sad not to.
i agree getting rid of the rooms and also completely agree with SENIORITY although there are excepting to that rule and there is one in this case, sorry to say. gm kocoa goes beyond the call of duty and willing to help anyone as much as she can, if there a problem that she can not handle or none in office to help then she says send ticket, most gm’s just say send in ticket and not bother to try to help.
she is amore than a gm she is a friend who really cares for everyone and like me and most roomies/players she puts people first self second. she is more than a friend, she is a angel sent from heaven and when u go to her chat room u feeel like u are ina family atomphere, other chats u feel like a room of people just siting there waithing fora bus lol.my opinion is that there a couple of SENIORITY gms’s that could be demoted or laid off and kocoa could take there place.i like all gms’ but i sorry my opinion is u getting rid of the best one and keeping not so good ones. after today i will not go in chat for a while for i know the family atompher in nh will be gone and no one can fill kocoa’s shoes.

I am not willing to deposit my HARD EARNED money to compete against 60-100 players in a single game. If there were other rooms open I might consider it….. I still have to heard back about the fair n square games or 3 parts games that are CHEAPER than 50 cent a card!!!

I see where some of you are coming from but……… at the end of the day Mania is a business like any other- all gambling sites – in fact most sites not just gambling ones – are in business to make money not to lose it. Sat fr example you had a shop where the goods cost more to buy than you could sell them for , surely you would close that particular shop?? Mania pay some great prizes – no quibbles with payouts etc which to me is a massive bonus in itself. To all of you who say you are finished here etc etc – I challenge you to find a site better that Mania and guarantee that despite your protests that you wont deposit here again – you`ll be back . You`ll probably change your alias to save face(lol) but you`ll be back.If you werent that bothered about the site since changes surely you wouldn`t be protesting so loud on the blog?You`d be using your time to find that new wonderful site out there in the big wide world! I just want to add, I’m not looking for another site. Mania is a good site, just one that I can no longer afford. Last 6 deposits have been gone in a flash and won nothing or very very little, so time to find a free hobby, like watch TV with my kids or something. I will miss the chat room friends and the GM’s.

We try to answer questions to the best of our knowledge and when the information is given to us. When we have answers they will be here on the blog for everyone to see. Right now we are currently working on some changes and until they are approved by Management we have no information or answers to give you. Any changes that are made take time, nothing is instant. But you can keep checking here and when we have some information we will post it for everyone.

well not coming in to chatt makes this blog awsome to let me know what is what. I personaly have never played Bingo at any other sight I was lucky enoph to come here first and just listened to tothers bingo storys at other sight. I do not deposit as often as I used to as money is tight all over but every cent I do get is deposited to this sight.
As my deposit statise has gone down I want you to know I will understand if my level goes down some what. Never the less I will be here when ever I can and please dont change your fundmental princible of fare play.
