Hi Everyone!
First and foremost, I would like to thank all of you for being so fantastic for the past few weeks. We here at BingoMania really appreciate everyone’s help and support while Little Rusty is taking his final bow before he retires. Thank you to those who helped us beta test Mojo - our new shiny BingoMania server. I’m proud to announce that Mojo will officially become Rusty’s successor on Monday, January 14th!
What does this mean to you?
- Bingomania.com will be offline starting at 7am EST on Monday, January 14th until 9pm EST the same day. We will keep you posted on the blog on the progress of our big move and give you updated time estimates
- Bingomania will have a completely new design – (see screenshots below)
- Nickelbingo and Bonkers4Bingo will redirect existing players to www.bingomania.com as we’re combining all our partner sites into one
- The following rooms will be available on the new system: High Roller, Super High Roller, Nicknacks, Money Pot, Loony Bin, Lucky Lane, Nuthouse, Fair & Square, and Second Chance. The Party Room will be open for special free rolls and tourneys. All rooms will have wacky new designs!
- New features including: Bingo Bets, mini-slots, consolation prizes, e-cards, ability to upload pics to our gallery, loads of new games, more jackpots, and Keno will be back!
- We will start rolling out the welcome wagon with 150% deposit bonus day for all deposits and 150% + $10 for all deposits over $50 as soon as we move.
We’re taking this weekend to say farewell to our poor old friend Little Rusty, and look forward to welcoming our new server Mojo on Monday! Mojo is still closed for some final touches and testing, so all those peeps who snuck in to play there have been graciously escorted out 
We know it will be a big change for everyone, and we have been working really hard to ensure that it will be a change for the better. Well I see I will not be playing here this is crap they take away the credit card option and now I can’t play tonight and I wait all week to play on Friday night I got not one e-mail saying that we would not be able to deposit useing our credit card. I called and was told that the credit card option would be available on Tuesday well off to find another site wish everyone well I may or may not be back.

Unfortunately we will be unable to have our usual Second Chance tourney on the 14th, but we’ll reschedule it for another day - will send out invites as usual. With regards to credit cards, I’m sorry that this option is unavailable right now, but we’re hoping that everyone will use eWalletXpress for the next few days while we wait for them to finish their maintenance. I just love the way the credit card feature works here too, but I also would like to see other payout options, i.e. Moneygram or bank wire…even tho’ I’ve never had a payout from this website, it would be nice for other options when you live in the US! Thanks for everything!!!

ewalletxpress costs a fortune, they charge you to take your money,,,,and REALLY get you when you cash out. Cashouts are seldom, but, it would be nice to have other options. I don’t see why you can’t just mail a check to US players like every other game site on the internet.

Most important! It is vital that the powers that be at Bingomania provide all USA players with a credit card option both for funding and for pay-outs!!!! We play to win/ and hope to win in order to receive a payout! Please, please, do not dismiss this as the least on your agenda!
Thanks again for the heads-up regarding Monday…. will get lots of cleaning done and hope that on Tuesday, I will be able to easily fund using my Visa. EWallet is okay, but I do not like giving out my checking account number and routing number via the internet.

One more short comment. Bingomania remains the best in terms of games, prize money, GM’s and management; however, if one cannot FUND in the way he/ she desires, no site is the best!
Again, please make it possible for US players to fund easily and using a credit card! Without the ability to fund and get paid should we win, what is the logic of playing? Emptying one’s bank account to a third party ( EWallet ) is NOT A GOOD OPTION! They charge a lot and ask for very personal and dangerous information regarding a personal checking account.
Please do heed this plea from a longtime loyal US player who desperately needs to fund! ( Balance = $ 00.00 )
I am not a level ten but I can assure you that I deposit lots here. Just wanted to say that. And a 250% bonus would knock my socks off. But I am not using ewallet. How about making a first week special or something. I hate that I never get these neat deals.
I did fund with ewallet today and for 20 they charged me 11.80 on top of it so no more with ewallet. and don’t xpect to get the xtra bonus funding with ewallet cause mania will not give it to me so this is not fair of mania to tell u this..

I have to agree with all of you about the ewallet. There definitely are other options for payout, as other sites use them. Moneygram and wire transfers directly into your checking/savings accounts. I can’t believe it takes so long to get a payout thru ewallet, since when you deposit it is immediately, but when you request a payout it just takes too long. Also, do you guys get charged (by your banks) foreign transactions fees on each deposit? My bank charges these fees on each and every deposit!

I do understand that Bingomania is trying to find a way for us in the USA to fund and receive payouts as we did so long ago in the past; and further, I know the law which prohibits some of these options are not the fault of Bingomania. However, as many others have noted, there are other sites who offer convenient and immediate funding with credit cards to US players and they also pay out very conveniently. So….. what seems to be the difficulty at Bingomania?
I remember when it was as easy as calling the customer service desk and requesting a certified check be sent by mail.. those were good days and it was so much more fun to play with the prospect of winning!
Hopefully someone at Bingomania will be checking out this blog and consider all the comments here and then work on responding positively to this major complaint. Again, it is fruitless to be here if we can’t fund and then if we do that, we cannot claim our winnings. Simple as that.

I have a suggestion Mania…. Have the games in the free room .10 cent a game for free. Alot of other sites do. They do this for people trying out the site as well as the loyal players that can’t fund at the moment and want to play. Like me right now thats why I havent been on lately .. Can’t fund right now

I would like to thank Mania for the loyalty bonus they give us on the 10th of each month… Here is another suggestion LOL On top of that how bout if we earned points on every deposit that we make we could cash in for BBS.. .10 cent for every dollar deposited. For example
Deposit $25 we get 25 points cash in would be $2.50
Deposit $50 we get 50 points cash in would be $5
And you could put a max on cash in every day. Like the max could be $25 or $50 or something like that.
You could call it Mania Points and have it listed on the homepage as we log into our account

Winner…lot’s of us just can’t use ewallet…fees or not. Yes, I see plenty of ppl blogging about the fees…not me. If I could use ewallet and wanted to play, I would pay the danged fees (and, I think you know that lolol)…becauseeeeeee I am an addict! lol
Now then…I mentioned, a couple of times, about a free site that I am playing at, that used to be a pay site. Well, I was wrong. Ran into some of my oldest roomies (not chronologically lol), today. They said that, because of all the issues surrounding funding gambling in the USA…the site duplicated the site and made it free. So, those that can’t fund (for any reason) can still play and meet up and chat with their friends.
So, what am I saying? lol I guess, at Mania, we do have the free room…I suppose, that’s the same thing. OK..thank you Mania, for that. I am going to check it out…never been in there before.
Here’s a suggestion for the free room. How about awarding some kind of points (to substitute for real money…). Then, people can wager points and win a points prize, just like real bingo. It sure makes free bingo more fun. Players could be awarded a certain amount of points, twice a week. If they go broke, then they gotta wait until the next point awards day. It’s more like gambling than just playing for free and winning nothing.

We’ve been following your comments and suggestions here at ManiaStu, and I just wanted to leave a little note to let you know that we’re listening!
First off - to all those loyal level tenners - our apologies! It’s been so hectic here with the upgrade and to have our easy funding go off right in the middle, we got completely frazzled and overlooked the fact that you already get this bonus regularly! We will up your bonus on the new site! We would like to assure you that you will get a lovely gift in your accounts this week and please accept my deepest apology!!
Secondly - the reason why our US players have such limited payout options is because of new regulations on banking here in Antigua - the sunny little island of Bingomania headquarters. So other sites may have more options simply because of their geographical location - we try very hard to open up as many options as possible for all our US players, but sometimes it’s out of our hands!
Thirdly - we know how frustrating it is with no credit card option, and would like to thank all our loyal members who are waiting with us to have easy funding back.. It should be back like before within a few days and we’ll send out an email to everyone as soon as it does.
Aaand finally - thank you all so much for all your suggestions on free play, wacky new bonus schemes and reward programs. Let me assure you that our “to-do” list is quite hefty in all these departments! We just need some time to get over this upgrade hump so that we can dive into improving all these areas. We will definitely be implementing a Mania Points system where you can use points to enter into tourneys and contests to win biggie prizes - just goes to show that our marketing department is in touch with what you all want =)

Olga here - in case some of you don’t know me, I’m a member of Mania staff. I do some techie things, organize tourneys and promos, build new site features, and been all over this upgrade! Just wanted to post up an update on how we’re doing…
In short: really well!
As of right now, we’re right on track - we’ve moved out of Rusty and into Mojo. We’ll be testing for the next few hours to make sure everything is a-ok for you all to come in an play. The site will be available at the same address - www.bingomania.com and both IE and Firefox will work fine. Unfortunately, easy funding is still unavailable, but should be back within a day or two.
SugarPlum - we’ve been having some e-mail issues where some e-mails sent to anyone @bingomania.com may have been lost around the big move. Can you please send again after the site comes back up? In reading these blogs it occurs to me that being a level 10 is not the only group who qualify as loyal. Some of us have not been with the site long enough to have spent that much money, and some cannot afford that much money, but we do utilize the site in a manner that could only be called loyal.
One thing that does bother me is, as someone else commented,the same names just up over and over and over. Perhaps these people are buying maximum cards at a time but still at any local bingo spot I have never seen this kind of winning streak by the “few”.
That’s it - I enjoy the site and will be there to welcome Mojo.

What I want to know is….will there be a download again? Someone else mentioned how the GMs hate working in flash, which I know is true but there hasn’t been any mention, really, of whether the download will be working again. If we’ll be playing on the web-based software that we tested I doubt I’ll play much past playing back what’s already in my account and the GMs will still be working in flash.
I agree with the comments about withdrawal options. EWallet is a terrible option. I have a decent amount of $$ sitting in my ewallet account that I withdrew from Mania but for them to take 10% to transfer it to my bank makes me just leave it sitting there. I’m hoping Mania comes up with another option so I can transfer it back to Mania and then withdraw again. And I hope that happens before Ewallet shuts down with my money sitting there LOL.
And….while I’m at it……please fix the card highlights on the 2 line and 3 line games. In the beginning when we were told the highlight function doesn’t work on those games because there are too many possible combinations we bought it…..but since some of us have been scouting new sites in case we feel the need to move when the new software kicks in we’ve learned that other sites DO have the highlights on those games…..so it is possible.

I was around during that fiasco, and at the time had a payout in limbo and remember the frustration that came it.

I’ll be looking in around 8, but as the others have stated, will be extremely surprise if the games are actually up and running on time.
